@@Swof99 she may also have used hot glue to hold the brackets in place before screwing them in. It's not a bad idea if you don't have an extra hand helping you hold things.

Good job! Rather than spending $10,000, I made my wall length massive bed headboard same way years ago It needed long woods to make a lovely dark frame like a picture frame!❤

Great tutorial! I think what people forget when they see the $400 ottoman in the showroom is the LABOR and overhead and shipping involved in producing furniture. If you charged someone for your labor involved in producing your DIY ottoman plus the materials, and added all of that up, plus the overhead to put it in a showroom to sell it, suddenly the $400 would seem like a good deal. ;)
Nah, overhead and labor don’t add up to $400 for a small bench like that. People equate expensive with quality and trendy and therefore better, but it’s not necessarily true
New a guy that worked in an Ashley home furnishings, the mark up is like 55% on pieces 8n the show room. When they go on clearance they mark it 50 percent off and still make money.

My guess is about $40 - $4.24 (x4) wood pieces - $1 (x7) noodles - $15 (x1) yard of fabric - $1 various screws/staples 1/10th of the price, not bad! edit: hmm i forgot she used two layers of fabric. Another yard brings it to $55, still not bad!

Great idea! may have been easier if you slices the pool noodles into half tube shapes so they bend easier? it may not have been as squishy then though
