have you ever considered starting your own podcast? I feel like you have so much to say and so many interesting thoughts. I would definitely listen in every time
You are a trained economist, aren't you, Taylor. Then of course you realize everything has an opportunity cost. So then, for every moment that you are successful, you are passing up the opportunity to be unsuccessful, just as for every moment you are happy, you are missing out on the endless ways to be unhappy. (Cf. Tolstoy: "Happy families are all alike. An unhappy family is unhappy in its own unique way.") Now, one might wonder who TF wants to be unhappy? Who wants to be unsuccessful? Do you remember those commercials about "The Most Interesting Man in the World"? It was said of him that he once had an awkward moment, just to see how it feels. And there you have it. Every great artist must suffer. But whether she needs to suffer fools gladly is another question altogether. ;)
Lool I do agree that comedy and tragedy are different sides of the same coin! I think this is why sitcoms that make you cry at times are the best ones! Because it makes them real and more human. :)
You were in Cambridge for your 6th (delayed 5th) reunion. I was there from 6/5 - 6/8 for my 51st (delayed 50th) reunion. I wish I had known you were there.
