They do make high quality videos though, it is probably why they switched over to English, they started to get a western following. These thinga cant possibly shoot down modern fighter or ground attack jets can they? I feel like these would be more for shooting down rotary aircraft and propellar cargo planes like c-130s and c-17’s.

"Drones can destroy it" is not a way to evaluate the quality of anything. S400's, S300's, ZSU's, Buk's, Tor's, every tank on Earth have been destroyed up by drones. The Patriot has not been destroyed yet, but that's not because of it's quality, it just hasn't been located yet, a swarm of drones can destroy any vehicle. Until direct energy weapons become common, it will stay like that.

@@michaelanderson3096 It's called, the Avenger, the one you just saw in the video, it fires sidewinders for close range air targets. The Patriot launches huge missiles at longer ranges. Himars is a MLRS, not a anti-air, it's purely for sending rockets to ground targets. I guess it could be modified to shoot at air targets, but at that point, you changed the entire system other than the truck.

機関砲で対応出来るのはドローン位なんだろ？だったら高価な口径の大きな機関砲は要らないから20㎜で十分じゃあ無いかな？要はファランクスだね。ファランクスは1セットで完結してるから数十億円と高いから日本も装輪式の対空自走機関砲を自前で作って欲しいね。当然だけど十分な量を配備だよ。

Its training areas free of any vulnerable things
Bullet will fuse and blow up before hitting the ground. The systems are made that so, if you miss, it would hit the ground. Kind of important both on the battlefield and when protecting cities, otherwise hundreds of bullets could land in your own lines.

The Avenger platform also carries 8x Stinger MANPADS, which are very effective at taking down drones
the thing is the us does not have a dedicated triple a platform ,I think the m6 lineback was suppose to be it but it didn't work out ( I dont know why)
The US military relies on complete air dominance wherever they are deployed. The pee-shooter is for drones. All these other anti-aircraft guns would be obliterated before they fired a shot.

US Avenger holds more than 75 rounds 👍🙂 So it can take on more than one wave of drones. .
tbf thats just the 2ndary armament anyway...the main is the stinger tubes, other than that ..good luck on trying to shoot down a tiny target with a single .50 cal under anything but ideal conditions and just 75 rounds in a can. Thats nothing.

Yeah, unlike the Russian vehicles and equipment, that are all definitely under 50 years old. Such as the T-72 and T-62s, that are named as such because they belong in 2072 and 2062 respectively. Oh, and those glorious BMP-1's, totally new vehicles, don't believe those who say it's 1960's vehicle, it's brand spanking new! And they perform so well, not a single lost in Ukraine obviously, that would be absurd to lose such cutting edge vehicles.

Why can't it be build by 3×5 barrels and hit the targets at over 75,000 feet? It needs to be build for the most powerful anti aircraft weapons in the world that no air crafts can pass it.
75 000 feet ? That is what, in civilized world, 25 000m ? why not pushing stupidity more, and build 7 barrels ones, able to hit mosquitos on the Moon ? 🤣🤣🤣
Cause bullets fall down, a 20mm wouldn't make it more than 6KM if aiming straight in the air. Also, bullets take time to travel and can't adjust trajectory, meaning that you'll basically never hit since target is is maneuvering and tons of factors like wind will affect bullet trajectory. That's why it's only used to take down drones these days, planes no longer do strafing runs these days.

Yet these systems are less expensive to fire, and would take out drone swarms better than missiles at least. They also have 'air burst' capabilities, meaning, it can approximate and burst, and this means it does not need direct hits. Ironically the Geperd (by Germany) was one of only of its type. These type of AA designs 'were' considered obsolete but yet the Geperd saw high usage against drones and using radar in Ukraine; and was one of the only systems that could still do it until 'more modern' ways are invented and deployed. This is because drones actually need to move into close range (while certain planes and helicopters may barely outrange AA, making it useless or a secondary layer of protection, which was mostly hte reasoning of discarding those systems; ironically, Germany was better by having such a system in place)
It's very simple, go to the battlefield in Ukraine or Afghanistan to prove the effectiveness of your equipment,🤣🤣
