- There are some lanes where you have to just sit back and do nothing. Yasuo matchup, once he gets items, he just pushes u in and u can't really do anything about it. So you just have to sit back and play for ganks and find poke whenever you can. This game was an example of how u should play if put into that position. Sadly, there's not much you can do about it as Katarina. You just have to make sure you play to your strengths and do your part.

There seems to be a significant jump in competence between silver and gold if this isn’t a little bit of smurfs queue. Like I couldn’t really tell the difference between the bronze and silver games but this is much different.

When do you go rocketbelt and riftmaker and which item do you go after those?
I'm pretty sure going riftmaker is overall better when you go against tanks
Riftmaker into 3+ bruisers/tanks, rocketbelt into 3+ squishies (this is my way of determining)

im silver 4 in flex and iron 2 solo que (but should be atleasy bronze 1 or silver 4) and gold almost plat, you see that everyone knows way more what they are doing with macro and matchups

i always struggle against annoying yasuo mains. when i lost my turret, i'll just ignore that champ and straight up aiming for his adc n sp, or maybe jg. i just hate hate ys players. plus they scale so hard late game. can just hassagi hassagi me dead :(

yasuo is such a annoying matchup to face as kat or fizz...
i understand your teaching, but i cant get out of gold2-1, impossible, everyone is just too good, either picking counter teamcomp, or otp with millions of points, or played 2k games, they tryhard coinflip 0/24, i actually get 15 lp for a win, and lose the same, there is no point to climb, season7 i had platinum, now im facing challenger players, all know what to do, usually but they just perma push lanes, but it doesnt matter bcs all lane usually push to death even if pinged the jg may come, they just fight and push and drake and solo and etc. it doesnt even matter if im 30.0 at this point of having perfect macro, or 300 cs at 25 mins, its eune

i think the title is kinda a click bait since you weren't really struggling with yasuo ur team did well and he wasn't very agressive, i played against a ilaoi she did a triple under the tower against me and yi, those kind of picks make me want to change the lane and never use kata again
So - basically - you had your whole team on your lane to help you and then you won... how about playing a game where you are permaganked and your team stays in their lanes - let's see then :D
U olay under tower in that scenario thats all u can do but majority of games u wont be perma ganked lets be fr here
i get so mad watching this video. I have 3 mil mastery on katarina and NOT a single game i've played my jungler says he's ganking lvl 3. I am playing under my tower 1v3 all game, their support and jungler perma comes mid while my jungler is taking krugs or ganking other lanes. I'm forced to outplay 1v3s or 1v2s every single game. I don't die because i see the ganks coming but still i can never solo kill them since they always are more mid on the enemy team. but every time i face katarinas they get ganks. Its to the point where i gently have to ask my junglers to counter gank me at least and still they ignore me. Im emerald 4 rn, but I wonder what rank i would get too if i had the junglers all these youtubers get.

my man you skipped silver and gold which are the ranks where most people struggle and worst experience exists , due to being in smurf queue you're playing actually in low-mid plat now , I'm gold 3 and I've never seen this level of gameplay in gold , you played first in bronze where everyone is trolling and no one knows basics , then jumped to plat where everyone knows roaming and map awareness , you missed the rank in between which is the worst chaotic rank
