Was this video ever uploaded elsewhere on CZcams before? I'm quite certain I've never seen this speech before. Have any other of Emma's fans been long acquainted with it? And it's just one example of Emma's delightful, gracious, down-to-earth speech-style. She deserves to win every award she is nominated for, just so she can delight with her perfect speeches. (Her peerless acting and genuinely lovely character furnish sufficient reason.)

Man Stone deserved that award easily .. what an incredible performace in basic instinct! Outstanding !
The Academy lacked the courage to indicate one of the most daring works of the 90s. In Basic Instinct, Sharon Stone magnetizes the canvas every time she is on the scene, Catherine Tramell's sensuality goes far from a free trivialization of nudity to be a manipulation game and domination over your partner and control of the situation that is spectacularly interpreted by Sharon Stone. And when we look at the list of nominees for Oscar 93 for best actress, we see how absurd that snub was, because although they were excellent, none of the nominees that year performed better than Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct and that even includes own Oscar winner who was Emma Thompson.
