Honestly, its the best bottle opener that we've ever used, it feels great in the hand and is a pretty unique keychain to have.
In today's video we have some fun with opening bottles. We tried several ways and got some pretty cool slow-motion shots.

I love the commitment to opening the bottle just for you to say grape soda isn't your favourite. Brilliant.
Missed a way: Tip the bottle downward and use the pressure from the water like a bottle opener to force the cap off. Unsolved problem: Liquid spills out afterward.
point the water at the pointy ends of the lid and unscrew it.
Turn the water jet upside down 🙃
Missed a way: smash the bottle open with a hammer ww
If you put the cap directly against a tray like the one they use and have a low but not too low enough pressure you can push the cap off and nothing will spill.
New unsolved problem: How do you pick up cap and bottle as an armless person?
And now I can open my high pressure soda without any problems
Allergy shots Mac and I both my eyeballs yeah
I thought you was going to try using the WaterJet to spin the twist off cap!!! maybe that would work!!!
Richard Dunlap were.
Same
Majority of glass bottles dont have twist off cap.
You know when you’re at a party/kick back and you get a beer and you lost your 10mm wrench bottle opener, and this guy comes out of nowhere with a FLIPPING WATERJET!!!
Engineers that do not take them self too seriously are awesome and great to work with.
I like how this is the hardest they’ve worked on a video
I commend you two on your absolute commitment to this task! I am impressed with your tenacity!
I like that you guys show that your challenging yourself at programming it makes me wanna watch your videos more often
I love how once a little goes wrong with the waterjet it just gets worse and worse all in the same second.
This whole channel is basically the Resident Evil laser trap done to random objects.
Subscribed.
Guys, you're overthinking this.
The easiest way to open a bottle is to get someone else to open it.

Thanks for the advice

My favorite part of this whole video is that those are all twist tops.
0:18 "You might be saying to yourself..." Dane that is a twist off.
5:19
@@mindaugasnomnom3548 cool brah...
It’s amazing what human ingenuity is capable of when we really set our minds to it.
I really want to buy one of your tools, but I'm afraid that if I put a 10mm on my keys, I'll never find them again...
I know what you mean. I lose more 10mm and 7/16 wrenches than anything.
Friends brother was working on his truck and dropped a 10mm. Luckily there was a miracle and it fell all the way through and ended up on the ground
The music during each test was perfect. Made the while video worth it
This idea gets an award for most effort for least payoff of any invention ever.
Defenetli the best and easyest way to Open a bottle.
If you sold those bottle tops that were smoothly cut off, I'd buy one!
That orange creamsicle soda is the most bomb fire beverage ever conceived.... Stewart's ily
I ordered one when you announced it. I cant wait to anodize that bad boy.
i sure do enjoy your videos keep up the good work
I wonder if just hitting the grippy edge of the cap would unscrew it?
4:42 lmao that was a twist off you genius
OMFG that chamfer thing was bloody amazing.
More fun from the boys at the WC!
Thanks.
Thank you for these! Now I can easily open my sodas with 60,000psi waterjet!
Cant wait to get a brand new Waterjet Channel Limited Edition Titanium Bottle Opener Wrench Keychain Thing(TM pending?)!
Love the channel guys! Keep it up!
so satisfying when at 5:30 you are doing exactly what I was thinking at the beginning lol
not sure why i havent subscribed sooner. love you guys
Art as usual.
I'm really thankful that you made this, now I know how to open a bottle when I lose the 10mm wrench ok your bottle opener.
You can also make stamped sheet metal tweezers, but with a water jet. You can also probably use the 6 axis to cut the edge
6:20 Flawless
The bottle opener part was hilarious lol
Got the right idea. Change the angle and get beard guy to rig up a soild jig. Awesome vids.
David cutter- snakes is finally back I see. Such a basic but nice song.
That was rad.
wow got to be honest this is so cool
Wow! I recently got my wclektmaaeulagtbotmwmtk and it is great!
Now you have your 5 - axis jet could you cut cylinders of things into helix / springs, as in glass bottle cut into a helix?
I was Rushing to the link to get my wrench/bottle opener before it sells out. but I just discovered you guys today and it's 6/14 😥😥😥 I bet you wouldn't have guessed that I like wrenches.🔧🔧
Great success
6:41 that cap was so fast it vanished 😂
Once I get my bottle opener, do I need to use any special care or treatments?
Edit: I bought the small titanium one, not the waterjet one.
Amazing that you turned regular orange soda into cream soda!
Got my "All the Awesome Stuff He Said" bottle opener... Love it, but wasn't happy with the feel or finish. Sanded then polished it till I could read reflections in it then polished it a little more! Left the sides with a little of their texture though. I'm gonna keep it forever!
Fun video
An excellent innovation for the arthritic community.
Should have tried twisting the cap off with the jet.
New way to do the bottle cap challenge.
@@future_phonk roundhouse kick the start button?
@@mrgriff9648 what you said earlier was what I was referring to.
@@future_phonk yeah I know, would have been meme worthy
Could have got one of this keychains for my birthday
I have Arthur write this and no hands so thanks I will be using this method from now on
But how will someone with no hands program the water jet
yeah, they didnt think of that
3:47. I was waiting for that to happen. Lol
Nice!!!!
I saw a video where someone put lava in a hydraulic press, I was wondering if you guys could cut molten lava in a water jet to see the result.
What did you use for the slow motion? It was awesome.
Chronos 1.4. You can search for "chronos slow motion" if you want to see more videos that use it.
Vision Research has even better high speed cameras (e.g., Phantom v2640 and Phantom Flex4K; see Slow Mo Guys, etc.), but their cameras cost a lot more (around $109-175k, compared to $3k for the Chronos 1.4).
I figured that you would try to spin/twist the cap off by hitting it at 90 degrees but off center.
Y'all really need to collab with the slow mo guys
Not sure why but this is probably my favorite of yalls videos. How about a can of beans next time?
Exactly how many bees took residence in your shop after filming this episode lmao
Could you spin it off without the garnet?
Oi. Good job bois.
Who needs a bottle opener when I can just buy a 59999.9 psi water jet
I've been opening bottle's all night with a crescent wrench.
Bro, dont drink that. All I can think ab is internal bleeding.
Handicapped and can't open a bottle?
Buy this $500,000 waterjet and never struggle with bottles again!
i'm still paying it off 27 years later
I like how they were twist tops 😂
Love your fingers
OMG it’s on sale 5cents OFF what a steal
I won't lie, the sale got me. I got one at five cents off. Not five tenths of a cent off, but the whole five cents. It is a steal! And it's titanium
5 hundredths of a penny?
@@swr1240 it would have been tenths, but he edited
Use honey ;)
I wonder if a very short strong blast straight down though the cap would produce enough internal pressure to push the cap up and off
I think it would have, but the nozzle kept the cap on
Great job guys, by the time you started to the finish, it was after beer/o'clock, so I figured that you could have finished with a beer, just saying 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘
I get myself an edge of a table and put the bottom of the cap on it and hit the cap with my fist. Now my cold beverage is ready to drink
It's a waterjet, of course you're gonna find some reason to cut a circle 👍👍
3:49 When an anime character gets a papercut.
Not only is it a bottle opener, if you ain't careful it will be a skull opener as well!
Stewart's root beer is so good
Just bought one of your bottle openers
Might be some glass in there as well.... Takes a sip anyways.
I've done that several times in my Becks drinking days. That was 15 or so years ago and I'm still here.
Just polishing the old insides.

I was thinking if you could spin it of with the waster jet
How much does one minute of use of the waterjet cost?
i had an idea, fill a complex mechanical device with clear resin so all the parts stay in place after the cut
I didn't see a bottle opener. I saw a waterjet powered bottlecap launcher.
I have an even easier solution. My shoe has a bottle opener in the sole. Because it's a slider, even someone without hands could use it, and the shoe provides protection against the potential pain of a normal bottle opener.
my favorite bottle opener is my plasma cutter
Do you treat the tank water for legionnaires disease?
Okay I'm sorry had a few drinks. But I still believe you guys can make it work even better... Maybe not a small and precise but I bet you can make a sharper toothpick than they did!!
You guys should stack a bunch pieces of metal and see how many layers it goes through
All of them.
Stewarts soda is so good...
My grandmother loves Stewart's soda
What's the story with that power hammer in the background behind the big green mechanical press?
Can the waterjet twist off a twist-top???
I've got a question... Do you split the money you make from CZcams/merch between the two of you, or do you split some with the owner of that place too?
We've got four water jets, two lasers and a whole piss pot of standard turret punches. The laser cutters are cool, but the water jets are so much easier and faster. The boss won't let us play with the lasers, but he will let us use the water jets to fuck around and make cool shit. I have made dozens of special wrenches and hand tools for very specific jobs, like only used once a year. But when it's time to use it, it makes that job soooo much easier and faster.
6:42 even in slowmo the cap was booking it
What about freezing it and then cutting it
Less loss and the sediment is easy to get rid of
0.29 what is your lamp ?... brand and series, please.
that you use to make photos / videos? ... Answer my question. Urgent
yes the easier way is to find a sharp corner. like of a table, of a drawer handle, a block of wood, picnic table whatever. catch the corner under the cap and using the palm of your hand, wack the top in a downward motion. it will come off every time.
