    Actually this is not a folk song. It is a song composed by Arslanbek Sultanbekov in 1997. Political parties in various Turkic countries once mistook it for a folk song and used it as election music. When it was realized that the song belonged to Sultanbekov, he said that he presented the song to the Turkic world and allowed its use.

    The name Nogai comes from the Golden Horde commander Nogai, a descendant of Jochi, the eldest son of Genghis Khan.The name is translated as dog from Mongolian and has a totemic meaning. As a Kazakh, I understood the entire text.The Nogai language looks like a lighter version of the Kazakh language.there is less vowel harmony here, for example the Kazakh sogistar, the Nogai sogislar, kazakh zhurekter,nogai yurekler and fewer sounds

      The name Nogai doesn't come from the general, it it's their name. There as a Tatar named person and also Tutar so the person name is after the ethnicity name.

Многие ногайцы потом перешли и изменили своём политическое название от Ногай на Казах. Вот так большинство ногайев стали казахами, тем самым ассимилировались. А остальные, малая часть убежала в Кавказ
