quite a nice video sir, I would point out however, that the audio seems be only on the left side of the Stereo. Which is a bit annoying when you are watching with headphones.
Agreed, however I found there is a work around. If you're on a mac you can go to System Preferences -> Accessibility -> Audio and then check the "Play stereo as mono" box and it will play the sounds through both speakers. Just remember to disable it once your done.
Hi James, I need to load test an API which has response content type as text/event-stream. I guess this is of type server sent events. Could you show me a demo to handle this type of response. When I tried to record it, the galling recorder cannot capture this.
woow, awesome video . you managed to cover so many things in an efficient manner. I have a question, can we use gatling for desktop/windows application such as sap-ecc windows application ?
Pls do let us know who to create transaction markers, running multiple scripts in a scenario etc.. similar traditional things what we used to with other tools. thanks
I wrote a post about it here: www.james-willett.com/running-gatling-through-gradle/ Ive had a few issues with using the Gradle plugin for teaching my course, so I am actually speaking to the Maven plugin which is officially supported by the Gatling team - gatling.io/docs/3.3/extensions/maven_plugin/
Similar to the one here: github.com/james-willett/gatling-fundamentals/blob/master/build.gradle Beware though, its a bit out of date. Check the Gatling Gradle plugin for up to date info: github.com/lkishalmi/gradle-gatling-plugin

Thanks for pointing this out - it does seem to be an issue with stereo vs mono . Will fix it for future recordings

Hi,
How come you have ConcurTest10.scala file created at a later time present alongwith ConcurTest1.scala that you just created while recording?
Can't remember, I might have created this as a practice before recording the video. Sorry for any confusion !
Well does Jmeter tells you where the problem area is?
No
