Mac did all he could, the team and program are just garbage. They just lost to Navy this season.

Could definitely make the NBA as a role player. All the hype he had out of high school was BS. He’s a solid player but definitely not a star. Even in these highlights, he’s not dominant or blowing by anybody. He’s making contested shots, which tells me his athleticism is slightly above average. He reminds me of Grayson Allen. Who was a good COLLEGE player but had to find a role in the NBA. McClung can be a solid bench player in the league.
Mac is playing within Beard's system which isn't about one guy going ISO all game. It's a motion offense where guys are supposed to give up the ball immediately if they don't have a shot.
Agree that Mac is looking more like a role player in the NBA, which is not a bad thing for someone his size.

He has a 48 inch vert maybe more. He has raw scoring ability and is really tenacious. His ball IQ is alright, but he definitely has shown potential. He’s still developing that IQ and has barely reached his ceiling on that front. He has a good feel for playmaking, but as he improves his IQ on offense it’ll come together. His biggest weakness is his defense, more specifically against taller guards. With that said he has the athleticism to make up for it. He just needs to build on his defensive IQ. Being that he is somewhat under sized at the 2 puts him at a disadvantage. If he improves his ball IQ on offense and defense while improving his stamina he’ll be able to make up for his height with his athleticism. The talent to play in the NBA is there. All in all he has superstar potential as long as he stays healthy.

BTW you can clearly see he’s had his head at or above the rim while being 6 feet 1 in some of his other videos. I’ll say this though. If he wants to consistently get up that high he needs to up his stamina with all the added defense he has to use against better college competition.
