      @@carltoniles251 because the road train is doing most of the work. Have you ever towed another car with an underpowered vehicle? It doesn't actually take much to get the two moving. The trick is having the coordination between vehicles so you don't snap the strap. If the land cruiser were on asphalt he would snap the rope before his wheels started spinning like that cause he's just hauling ass like he's trying to pull a tree stump out

      Yeah nate the clunk when yiu change into any gear is normal, the chasis is self lubricating thanks to the flogged out seals, she clicks and clacks like a starving biafrian chils speak click click but thats normal, never towed a thing in her life hasnt left the sealed road. hahaha fucking gumtree special and probably still wants top coin for her.

      Actually no. Truckie knew exactly where his wheels were pointing. He didnt want the rest of the wheels slipping in to the ditch. If you csn see the slight slope. Also im the kinda mud it wouldnt have made much difference..

    Those Landcruisers are the best. I had one with a Chevy 350 V8, with from rear Air Lockers, body suspension and 39.5 inch tall but 16.5 wide mud tires, it was a beast and half.. But today I'd rather have the old Toyota diesel engine, no power, but great fuel economy

      He's trying to get out of the gully not continually be bogged in it. You'll notice the cruiser isn't exactly infront of the truck, but where the truck needs to be.

    Best 4wd in the world hands down for size to power and reliability .
    They can do over 1 million k’s per engine rebuild easy

      I wouldn't go that far they still require regular maintanance and like any modern diesel the injectors only have limited shelf life and are not cheap to replace!!!! Yes they are reliable but they aren't bulletproof

Saying that when it comes to noise reliability and durability cruiser wins all day haha just the pricing is ridiculous for what you get

    The truck is still doing 95% of the work. The Toyota is giving that last 5% it needs to get moving. Could put any similar sized 4x4 on the front and it would do the same thing.

      Probably helped the truck a lot on getting its steers some angle/traction onto better material. Looks like if the truck went under its own power it would probably steer itself off the road.

      Anything with a low ratio transfer case and locking hubs will do the trick given the axle doesn't shear and the diffs don't blow up but you're unlikely to do that in mud
