For those of you who do not want an OEM replacement...check online for alternatives that serve a better purpose than the OEM battery's specifications. It honestly helped out my car's performance in terms of MPG, AC, and has a higher probability of staying charged during harsh weather conditions (I live in Texas...the heat kills batteries). Ultimately, the 1yr warranty on the OEM battery is unacceptable. I got a X2 battery from Batteries & Plus for $350 and it came with 4 yr warranty and works WAY better than OEM.
I got over 12 years use out of the OEM Panasonic battery before the resting voltage indicated it was time to replace it, and was able to buy a Panasonic replacement for under $300, so I went with OEM unit. I probably won't still have the same car in another 12 years.

Yes! Just a heads up- you may lose some custom settings such as current trip mileage, gas mileage, radio settings, power seat, or window settings if you do not use it.
@@jovandixon4405 - it is advisable to have a vent to the exterior of the passenger compartment, especially if the battery is a liquid-filled unit (vs AGM) like the OEM Panasonic 24F battery is. When the battery is in the engine compartment as with a typical ICE vehicle, the battery doesn't vent into the passenger compartment.

I don't know, my Camry hybrid has had the original Panasonic battery since 2010. It has just now started to lose charge.

Where did you find a replacement battery for the 2012 Camry Hybrid? I can't find one using the size listed on the Panasonic battery.
