I using Fiebings, and leather is so dried after dyeing process, sometimes it cracking if I painting very thin pieces of leather for wallets etc, so I bought Seiwa, but don't know how to use it. And second question, many japanese artists dyeing their carved projects on leather, it looks so impressive, it's this same dye?

Depending on the leather, the softness can be maintained by imprinting the oil after drying or using a high-grade finish called urethane. I do not know the works of other Japanese artists, but there are three major types of dyes used in Japan. Seiwa Dye, Crafts Company, Lized. Kraft is a thinner liquid than Seiwa.
