    Hi Angela,
I bought a Cricut Joy for applique fabric cut. I embroider for personal use only. For accurate placement of the pieces on the fabric I am using a led light box. Is around $20 on Amazon. Put it underneath the hoop after placement stitch. It lights through the fabric, like tracing on the window. You know exactly where to iron the cut pieces. It helps with tuck down, to catch the applique pieces 100%. No shifting, misplacing.... Maybe would help you too

Awesome tips! I’ll have to try w my Cricut. Really enjoying your videos and I have needle envy. 😈😈😈 I’ve only got a single needle machine.
Two questions that I’m not hearing in the vids I’ve watched so far:
    1) how do you keep your T-shirts flat and not have needle go thru both sides of your shirt? Unless I scrunch the shirts and stretch them, they’ll go through both layers.
    2) who does your designs or do you buy them? If you do designs, which software(s) do you use?
    Thank you much! 💗💗💗

try 1 or 2 millimeter only. I am using the measuring tool in my embroidery software, and measure it from tuck down stitch to the edge of the satin stitch. Not all the applique satin stitches are the same width. if you go in inches, is 0.038 or 0.079 inches. easier in metric 1 or 2 mm
