Thanks Angela. Have been trying to muddle my way thru using embrilliance & SVG files to get crisper appliqués. Love your videos. Been watching for years. You inspire me. Thanks 👍🏼 Considering investing in a brother persona
This video was super helpful. Thank you! I love all of your videos. You’ve taught me so much!
Wow thanks! I was thinking i needed to invest in a brother scan and cut. You saved me $400!
That is fantastic. Thank you for showing us that. You have so much talent!
So flippin adorable! I really need to start using my cricut for the applique as well. Thank you so much for being a great teacher
Thank you for this amazing demo. I’m new to both Cricut and machine ITH embroidery. This is going to save me loads of time having the Cricut cut out my appliqué pieces. Thank you, you’re awesome!!
You are amazing. I didn't know about all of those short cuts. I have had my Cricut Explore 2 since 2016 and I never knew such things could be done. Thank you, thank you!!!
I never knew Embrilliance did this!! This is going to save me from lots of pain in my hands!!! Your the best and a genius Angela! Thank you and my hands thank you!!!!!
I always learn something new when I watch your videos. Thanks
This is a great idea! Can’t wait to try it.
Thank you SO much for this video. I've just started doing applique patterns on my PE800 and it takes FOREVER. This will be a great time saver. :)
I'm a new to all this and you really helped me sort all this really well. Very well explained. Thank you
Angela, I learn so much from you and Neita Fajita! :)
It’s the “wonky donkey”’for me🤣🤣. I learn so much from your channel. I’m glad to know you used the regular vinyl settings because I have never liked the rotary blade.
I didn’t know and thank you child the possibilities just opened up
I have a Cricut Maker and this will save my sanity along with hooping with the mighty hoop, Thanks a million for sharing!!
This is amazing!! I just did it for a MAMA shirt. Thank you!!
A lot of great information. Awesome video. Thank you.
Hi Angela thank you for sharing this very helpful video.
I so need to try this! Thanks for sharing!
Love that you show us how to do this. This is a time saver especially for a shirt that sell over and over again.
That came out really good. Now I have a reason to finally use my Cricut Maker for applique. It was one of the reasons why I bought it and I never use it for that purpose. 😂
I love watching you thanks for sharing 🥰
Super cute!!
Thank you now I know how to do this! Great job explaining
Very useful for freehand applique as well
THANK YOU!!! For sharing this! GAME CHANGER!!!!!
Beautiful work
Note to self : everyday iron on ... more pressure !! Thank you Angela Jasmina! 😊
I love the look of applique but hate trimming the fabric. I will be using this technique even for the easy ones. Thanks for sharing!
Great video, it can really save time on your best selling designs
Was a Great video Loved it so much
Thank you so much for sharing
So cute I really like it🙂
Love this! Thank you!
Hi Angela,
I bought a Cricut Joy for applique fabric cut. I embroider for personal use only. For accurate placement of the pieces on the fabric I am using a led light box. Is around $20 on Amazon. Put it underneath the hoop after placement stitch. It lights through the fabric, like tracing on the window. You know exactly where to iron the cut pieces. It helps with tuck down, to catch the applique pieces 100%. No shifting, misplacing.... Maybe would help you too
That is a super cool way to do that!!!!!
You are awesome!!!!
That was very useful, thank you!
Super helpful. Thanks!
excellent tutorial 👍🏻
Excelente! Gracias.
Good work. Thanks for sharing
Oooohhhh pretty scissors ✂️
LOL! So I wasn't crazy. I thought you left the backing on. 🤣🤣🤣
Loved this video! You taught several new tricks so thank you! Have you tried the fabric blade (and more pressure since you have heat n bond on the back) with this technique?
You are Amazing!
This is exactly what I wanted to know how to do. How to make the svg for applique from my embroidery file and let the cutting machine cut out the pieces. Thank you!
I feel like it definitely saves fabric but at the same time a lot of work.. but I guess I do the same for htv shirts so same amount of work if I were embroidering !! N now I know I can cut out my appliue on my cricut so thanks 😊
Thank you sooooo much!!!!!!!!
Great video. Thank you
When I have multiples of an applique design, I'll cut the pieces like that. One offs I go ahead and do the Angelina method of cutting after the tack down. ;)
So cute
You made everything look so simple and effortless. I have tried cutting the pieces out on Cricut once I saved the SVG file on Embrilliance, but I find they still don't fit even adjusting the outer size by one or two mm? I'm not sure what else to try? Please advise. Thank you
You are so sweet. Thank you. ❤
Great tutorial. I'm having the most difficult time placing a hooped sweatshirt on my Brother 6 needle 😫
Your video is very helpful. I am still having issues with the cutout in the middle of A, O, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
This is so helpful! I have Silhouette and Embrilliance, so plan to use this more. May I ask what type of fabric you used with the glitter?
Hi, how does your sizing work with that? I would be afraid that it would be wonky. 🤷🏼♀️I don’t have a multi needle just yet but I’m interested in the marching cutting the vinyl/ fabric. I should say that I hand silhouette cameo 4 and not a Cricut. Thanks! Love your videos! Family is adorable!
Thank u for this! What software do u use to record your screen while we can see you at the bottom?
Love your work! What size is your design and what size hoop do u use?
Awesome tips! I’ll have to try w my Cricut. Really enjoying your videos and I have needle envy. 😈😈😈 I’ve only got a single needle machine.
Two questions that I’m not hearing in the vids I’ve watched so far:
1) how do you keep your T-shirts flat and not have needle go thru both sides of your shirt? Unless I scrunch the shirts and stretch them, they’ll go through both layers.
2) who does your designs or do you buy them? If you do designs, which software(s) do you use?
Thank you much! 💗💗💗
Thank you for the video. I had to stop as I was sooo confused. I am a beginner and would really appreciate your assistance. Which embroidery software stage should I purchase? Help! Thank you!!
Thank you for the info! Where was this glittery fabric from?
On the embroidery software you have do you use a Mac? If so how large of hard drive does one need to get? With your embrillance Essential is this the complete software or is it just certain sections you have purchased? I’m thinking of getting an Mac. Can you suggest what size or what you need the Mac to be?
Great video and thanks a lot. Be blessed.
very nice.
Could you tell me where you pruchase your glitter fabric
Hello Angela, which fabric are you using ? Nice work thanks for sharing :0)
I think when you select all the objects and hit attach it automatically changes to one color when trying to use one mat.
What type of fabric are you using? Where can i purchase it and the bonding? I missed the video explaining this and how it’s used
My embrilliance does not show the applique in the beginning. Is it bc I don't have SA?
where is the glitter fabric from?
If you use Silhouette Studio Designer Plus edition or higher it can read the embroidery designs directly, no need to go into other software. Sure Cuts a Lot 5 also reads embroidery files. Just choose the placement line as the cutting line, no need to trace.
Which circuit do u recommend?
Hi, which Embrillance software are you using. I did not get the screen to change the size
Thanks for the video. Is The pink glitter fabric from your shop so I can purchase? Love love 💕 that design did you digitize that yourself?
Hi Angela. I too use a Mac and just got my Melco 4 weeks ago. Can u tell me if your system for using Melco OS since it is not Mac friendly. Did you put windows environment on your Mac? I know Melco says PC is best but I just bought may mac and then just set up a my old pc for all the Melco stuff. Now I do not use mac. I am debating on putting the windows env on the mac but Melco says they will not support. I also us embrilliance 😊
I loved the video! Did you digitize the design yourself or did you purchase it?
Hi Angela where do you buy the SWF. poconos don have them I want a 15 needle
Where can i find the pink glitter fabric
Can this be done in Melco Design Shop?
How do you know what the DPI gets set to?
I will be doing this for every single appliqué that comes within my field of vision. I hate trimming
Love this. Where did you find your sparkle cotton fabric? Love the look.
❤
Why don't you use the fabric mat? Also what is reason for heat and bond?
Did I miss which version of embrillance you're using?
I have an etsy account where I do hat embroidery. Would you be able to give me some tips?
dope
Can you show me or have a video on how to embroider a logo?
Sis I think all our mats look like that. Mine do lol
I do not use the Embrilliance software. I use Designers Gallery Software. Can you make a video using DG software for those of us who us it instead of Embrilliance?
Thank you for the video! I primariliy do vintage designs. How much should I offset or increase my design by when I use a Cricut to cut out the fabric? I tried .1 inches but it was way too big.
try 1 or 2 millimeter only. I am using the measuring tool in my embroidery software, and measure it from tuck down stitch to the edge of the satin stitch. Not all the applique satin stitches are the same width. if you go in inches, is 0.038 or 0.079 inches. easier in metric 1 or 2 mm
Is there a reason you used the heat and bond instead of just using temporary adhesive spray?
The heat and bond gives it a very crisp look... the temporary adhesive would come out after washing
Hi Angela if your are using a mac you can use snapmat feature on cricut which allows you to use different colours on one mat easily.
I understand its alot easier but unfortunately I am on android so that feature isn't available for me.
Hope this helps you though 😊
Do you digitize??? I've asked all my digitizers to do this for me and no one "can" lol mine are all solid pieces, 12 inches wide, about 4 inches in height, 4 to 6 letters / numbers.
You're not only an embroidery expert but a computer expert as well. So many steps to understand. Love this design.
