I have met someone also using that kind of tech in the Youth rideline. The purpose is to save soul for Fergosa while potentially calling Corino or Sequana, plus calling the alden g1 rideline card is optional, so incase of potential whiff, he can stay in the soul for Fergosa.
Especially as a youth user, soul is hella tight on starting turns.
