  • The Primate's Palace
The Primate’s Palace (1778-1781) was built on property originally belonging to the archbishop of Esztergom. The Primate’s Palace is one of the most beautiful classicist buildings in Slovakia. Portraits of Hungarian rulers are exhibited in the picture gallery. An impressive part of the gallery is a collection of six tapestries found in the reconstruction of the palace.
    Michael's Gate & Michael's Tower
Michael's Gate & Michael's Tower - of the originally four gates to the original city walls, only the northern Michael's Gate has been preserved. It was completed in the 14th century. It was named after the Gothic church of St Michael, which was located before the fortification and was demolished in the 16th century due to incursions of Turkish troops.
