Bonjour
C’ est un magnifique quintette !
Les tableaux d’ une exposition sont ici admirablement interprétés,
L’ équilibre des nuances est parfait .
Bravo aux musiciens( et musicienne).
Absolute heaven to the ears! All amazing performers and the tone of the clarinet player is gorrrrgeous!
Thanks from Western Maine.
Thank you very much! It's very pleasant for us, especially for me!)
This music is my all time favorite classical piece. I was skeptical when I saw a woodwind quintet, thinking there would be a lot left missing without more brass. I was wrong, this was wonderful and I really enjoyed it! My daughter plays the flute, and passes along her compliments to Ms Avvakumova!
Thank you so mush! Nice to hear that) Maria A.
Agree!!! Amazing!
Great stuff! Didn Ravel orchestrate the piano piece of his dyspeptic friend Mussorgsky. These folks found wonderful
Takes my breath away
brassoon
I love 30:24! And even more, the fabulous chord progressions at 31:32--I cry for their beauty.
Great arrangement that's true to the spirit of the original and comes through well with the instrumentation. Very well played and inspiring performance!
Perfect start to a nice sunday morning
An imaginative adaptation of a widely known piece, giving it new contours and direction, making me rethink MM and the piece once again. Bill
It's a long piece for 5 musicians to perform. Well played beginning to ending.
If they were playing it in orchestra it would be just as long.
@@lucpraslan I think Daryl is saying in a full orchestra they wouldn’t play as much or have as much technically intensive parts
@@lucpraslan But the point is not every instrument would be playing all the time. This is VERY hard for only 5 instruments to play semi-continuously
This is perfection. I listen to this often. Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
Their wonderful performance is a great gift to Musorgsky lovers all over the world
I loved this. In 1960, our beginner band played the easier parts in an arrangement.
I loved it then. I love it now. Thank you
Yes, this is what Woods can do! great work.
木管五重奏で、大曲「展覧会の絵」を演奏するのはとても大変だと思います。しかし、この5人の演奏は完璧で、聴く人々に深い感銘を与えています。編曲も素晴らしいです。どなたが編曲されたのでしょうか。
Bydlo horn solo. That was great. *former horn player so sorry for the lopsided praise. You all are amazing. Ty for the performance.
Wondeful !
I love this video.. I watch this sometimes ❤️ you are very very good players! 🎶🎵🎼
Thank you very much!)
Wonderful! Thank you.
Браво! Прекрасно исполнение и аранжировка!!! Ребята большие молодцы!
Breathtaking
Браво!!! Молодцы👏👏👏
Wanderful music! Congratulations.
Bravo! Amazing performers
Bravo!!!! This is for me a rediscovery of a composition thanks to the superb finesse of your interpretation. Salud maestro Rakov!
Excellent. Thank you for posting.
Thank you for comment!
This is fantastic! Ingenious arrangement played by master musicians. I always preferred the piano original to the Ravel orchestration, although that arrangement also emphasises winds, but this version here is my absolute favourite now. Thanks for sharing this great piece of wonderfully performed music!
Thanks a lot! It's really pleasure for us to read comments like yours!
Wouldn’t go QUITE that far but def prefer it to Ravel. Bravo
@@curtbarnes4294 Well, this is an incredibly animated sound, and I love woodwinds forever. Of course, the original composition of anything is always the most precious.
But Ravel's orchestration is one of the greatest achievements in all symphonic literature, and totally loyal to Mussorgsky.
Heb hiervan genoten: heel bijzonder!
Bravíssimo!!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼bravi tutti
I don't miss the strings one bit! (Though maybe I'm biased-I play oboe!)
LOVELY!
Now what bozos vote against such a nice composition/arrangement/performance? MM himself would be pleased! Great stuff!
Супер!
Bravissimi ;) ;) ;)
Fu*king great performance
Sublime. Spectacular arrangement! I particularly enjoyed the use of the horn here, but everything was just perfect. Did this arranger ever tackle Stravinsky’s Firebird? I hope so.
Very sporty and well done from all players, the orginal is better but why not try something new?
Bravo! This is not an easy piece to pull off with just five players but this arrangement is great and you're wonderful players! Any chance of getting access to the music for this?
Great performance. I noticed that you made some changes to the Linckelmann arrangement. For instance, you played the first two Promenades on the A-clarinet, played the "cum mortuis in lingua mortua" on the Bb clarinet, and at bar 114 in the last movement, gave the melody to the horn.
Adding a horn solo is ALWAYS a good idea... (-;
This works Very well. I would like to get the sheet music for the arrangement........
Здравствуйте! прекрасное выступление ! не подскажите где можно приобрести данную Аранжировку ?
it's too beauty. is this Arr. Linckelmann?
모데스트 무소르그스키 [“전람회의 그림” - 목관 5중주 편곡]
What edition is this please? My quintet are considering buying a similar arrangement. Thank you!
Hello! It's arrangement of Joachim Linckelmann. Published by Barenreiter Verlag, Kassel, Germany.
Great performance to an even better arrangement! Who made it? Where can I buy the music?
Thank you very much for your comment! It's Joachim Linckelmann arrangement. You can find it on sheetmusicplus.com or fluteworld.com
@@Rakovrenat Hi, congrats on the performance! Do you have an idea where i can buy digital version? cause i could have problems with shipping
Anyone else notice that the two falling objects @ 28:20 are in time?
Is this the same arrangement that's on the JW Pepper website?
Hello! Yes, it's the same arrangement.
Marvelous!! I'm a (Brazilian) clarinet student and I would love to know where can I find this arrangement?? Please!!
Hello! Thank you!

@Rakovrenat Thank you!
Very beautiful, where can I find the score? Thanks
Marina Ferro www.baerenreiter.com/en/shop/product/details/BA6879/
Interesting changes in the final movement....adding piccolo.....and changes to the rhythms I wonder why?
Who did the arrangement?
Joachim Linckelmann
gute Bearbeitung
Beautiful !!!!!!! ... would be able to get the scores ?? :(( ... regards. :D
I believe Schirmer (?) has the quintet arrangement you might seek.
Is there anyway I would also be able to get the sheet music for this for my quintet?
I don't know if you're still looking, but here's the link to what seems to be this arrangement on JW Pepper www.jwpepper.com/5732516.item#/submit
31:15 I think this final part could have been arranged better. Should have had the bassoon and the horn on the left hand part and bring down the oboe or clarinet one octave. It’s too high register.
Где такие ноты можно найти?

Renat Rakov спасибо
?????
is french horn considered a woodwind?..
hello, haha l love it, culd you pass me the sheet music for me and my quintet???
Hello! I think we can change. May be you have some interesting pieces for my quintet?
+Renat Rakov of curse, well I have a suite from the musical Les Miserables also I have the tango suite for 2 guitars by Astor Piazzola in arranged for woodwind quintet
Kevin Mardueño Ok. But I need time for scan all parts of Mussorgsky. What's your e-mail? And can you send me your pieces? renatrakov@gmail.com
+Renat Rakov of curse, I need time to scan the tangos suite too, my email is kevinmardueno@hotmail.com
Hey Kevin and Renat! How can I get hold of these Piazzola and Mussorgsky pieces?
I really hate to say this, but the f lute was sharp throughout much of the performance. It's a great group, but....
pretty but the FH isn't woodwind lol
31:40 tempo is way too fast. You should follow how Giergev interprets this which is much more moderato.
This is absolutely beautiful, but WHY THE HECK is the clarinet playing the bassoon solo in the second movement????? I personally think the clarinet should have covered the sax solo, it would have been much more fitting. Incredible job though!
bassoon's posture lol
The one woman is wearing a formal dress while the men are dressed informally. What's wrong with this picture?
