since they never show any mob killers ever
as well as them never showing us where all sand came from because ever stack of tnt requires five stacks of sand and four stacks of gunpowder

I came back as a homeowner too! And with 2 little baby boys 🥹 I used to watch these every Friday morning before my classes then rewatch them in between classes and to relax after exams and mean professors 😭
I come back to this at least 3 times a year just to relive my childhood when it was all simple and I didn't have to sell my soul to retail for rent

Ah, back when Ray enjoyed Minecraft...
I can understand how Ray feels though. I love Minecraft. If I had only one game to play for the rest of time I would pick Minecraft. That being said if I had to play Minecraft as a job I might begin to hate it. I only really enjoy the game in spurts. I play for a month or so religiously then I quit and turn to other games. It's a slow game that caters well to the leisurely player.
Also I personally love the shots of Ray doing something random out of boredom during a Let's Play because I'd be doing the same thing.

Downtown achievement city looks so bare! No Caleb pit, Ryan's house isn't even kung fu house yet, no butts, no notice board, no cake wall... No corridor to the future... This just in: it is entirely possible to get nostalgic about a virtual place you've never even virtually been.

I’m now 21 moving out of my childhood home. This channel and series brought me so much joy, happiness, and fundamental building of personality. Thank you all for being with me through my whole life.
I was 9 when I watched this and now I'm in college. It's baffling how one video sent me back to being a little kid again. I remember growing up dreaming of being in one of these videos and playing Minecraft with the crew. Now half of them are gone for one reason or another and it's bittersweet to grow up with these guys and see what it has all turned into now. I wish I could be 9 again and watch these guys laughing my ass off trying to keep the volume down so my parents don't hear a swear word, now I'm 19 and these might not be as humorous but they hit me in a different emotional way. Reminding me of a simpler time for both the world and myself.
I will keep coming back to this for the rest of my life.

Yup! Back in the olden days of Minecraft! Where hard work and fortitude was a necessity, and building something as simple as a house took several hours

Aaaaand at least 625 pieces of coal used in the creation of Geoff's House. (of course, they could have use other materials but they were very uneducated about minecraft at the time)
***** I thought it was 100x100. Whatever. Anyway. Look through other let's plays. The 2nd and 3rd layer have many holes. It would be easier to assume they add up to 1 layer if they can add up at all.

Dude I first watched these eps on my iPhone 4 laying in a twin bed. Now nearing 32, have my own family, home, etc. Time truly flies.
I'm going through and re-watching this series. It's incredible how much Achievement City has changed

To answer jack's question on how much wool the logo uses, it uses 961 wool blocks (that is, if Gavin is correct with 31 by 31 blocks. plus 3 sheep for every bed (jack, geoff, michael, and gavin). So 973 sheep were slaughtered that Memorial Day weekend.
with the black border it's actually 33x33, so there are 1089 wool blocks! c:

+Timothy Morrison Yes he was a part of RT during RvB 7 or 9, his first video with AH is Mari0 but he was a part of RT way before Minecraft Lets Plays.
Its 7 years later and I still come back to this video every now and then.
If you listen to Michael and Ray in this episode in comparison to the most recent one they sound like two different sets of people.
The opening of the classic Minecraft music plus the nostalgia in the first 6 seconds really hits you. Especially after today.
Damn it’s crazy how this was 10 years ago. I discovered the Minecraft let’s play around episode 30 before the end videos.
Remember watching this when I was at school. Oh times have changed, when watching a genuine group of guys play together was the most entertaining thing. Thanks Achievement Hunter for the many laughs

At first I was like"20 hours?! How did you take that long?" Then I realized there was no creative mode for Xbox at the time....
So for those who were confused my the Notch cam, I am here to disclose this, it was Geoff, how? It was an edit, this was when they finished building the city as you can tell because-
1. Ray isn't at his house when the explosion happened, Micheal isn't near the button, and Jack is no where to be found, but thats normal for him
2. The things he had in his inventory, the only people who could have had a diamond sword was Geoff and Gavin, but Geoff is this host of the game, and you could see by the button, that it was the skin of Tennis Steve so we could only assume that it was Geoff being up there
