  • This is my third year living in Hunza with my two children. In this vlog I have tried to give a comprehensive response to the FAQs that I have received in the past 2 years. What made me take this decision and how I made it possible and other implications. I would gladly answer if you have anymore questions.
    This time, I am on a quest to spend the whole year in the mountains, experiencing all the seasons. I am going to be the first urban Pakistani woman to spend the entire winter in the mountains, along with children. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook for more stories on my first winter in the mountains and a lot more. #365daysinhunza #wintersinhunza #gilgitbaltistan

    Wow that’s amazing to see you living in Hunza! My dream place!
    I first went to Hunza 30 odd years ago and fell in love with this place and it’s people. Since then, I always dreamed of living there but work and life kept me away. I went back to visit two more times since then but it’s not easy for me to just uproot myself from the other side of the world and make Hunza my home.
    I’d love to see you make a vlog about your daily routine in Altit especially shopping for groceries in those small shops and talking to local people.
    Subscribed to your channel and looking forward to your vlogs.

    I am a Bangladeshi Widow. I have three sons. No girls. The eldest son lives with his wife in America. The middle boy does business in the country. The younger son will be admitted to the undergraduate. There is no peace in my country. Living in the state of adulteration. I have heard that, people of Hunza community are stretch free. They have no worries. Everything from the air to the water is very natural. So they do not have any disease. Hoping for peace. So, I want to live in Hanza for a while. Is it possible mem?

      Expenses of a rented house are almost the same as in any other city. But houses are not easily available. It is just a village and you know what village houses are like.

    PS: I would luv to have a positive response to my question soon …

    • @SaadiaSharjeelVlogs
      @SaadiaSharjeelVlogs  Před 2 lety +1

      Rukhsana, people ask me a lot of questions about rents in Hunza. The reason I cannot give a clear cut answer on that is that there are no fixed rules and regulations about that here. Anybody can ask you anything ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 Rupees. A lot depends on the condition of the house and the size and location. Secondly, Hunza does not have a property market like a city. It is just a village.
      As for your question about job opportunities in the education sector. The answer is that yes, there are many opportunities. People of Hunza value education and they have a very good education system in place here. I am sure you will be able to do a lot here. From finding a job, to opening a school of your own. I guess the best course of action would be to get in touch with Agha Khan Education Services for a job.

    Hi there,
    Just saw your vlog for the first time and it was very encouraging. Especially learning about your husband being a digital marketeer. this leads me to the question about how good the internet connection is there? do you have fibre optic/broadband level of internet available in hunza?

    • @SaadiaSharjeelVlogs
      @SaadiaSharjeelVlogs  Před 3 lety +1

      Well, the answer is that the internet is very good in the village where we live. But that is not the case with all the other vallies and villages.
      I am not very technical so I can't say if it is broad band or fiber optics. I think it is fiber optics. But internet in our village is as good as it was in Lahore.

      For homeschooling, if you are confused, feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start, then I would suggest that you read a few books and clear your thinking. That will help you know what to do. John Holt books are very famous for homeschooling.
      For the resources, internet is full of them and it will not be possible for me to list them here. I also have a homeschooling blog on Facebook. You can check that out if you desire:

      I should tell you that this woman is totally useless regarding these important information. She made this channel just for her own attention and nothing else. In more then 3 years she didn’t even know that people from punjab and other provinces can also buy properties. Wastage of time she is. I can show you plenty of available lands in skardu region as in hunza properties are very expensive
