Jasmine, I don't blame you for thinking "oh, come on they can't be that good, you guys are just playing with me"...so glad that found out that they are the real thing. And they still act like this...they are truly humble, thanking audiences even 7 years later and being awed that they are actually on stage with a huge audience (see the PPopcon in May this year). Then they come out with those voices and that harmony and the audience is just stunned, then totally enthused, even in their own country. To show you how great they work together, they waited in line for 10 hours thinking they were going to "Let It Go" from Frozen. But 10 minutes before they got on stage they were told they had a better chance with this song. Can you believe that with what you just heard? You will want to hear the next performance when they do "Problem", at X-Factor. Thank you for not just a genuine reaction, but repeating their mantra of not giving up. In fact in a December 2021 livestream they told us dreamers (4th Impact fans) that "we will come to the US and fight for our name". Sounds just like them here, doesn't it!
Hello Jasmine, great to have you back doing the 4I reacts! This is most people's first introduction to the ladies, it was mine. They left me speechless with this performance, I sat there with my mouth hanging open and my tongue wagging, must have looked silly, lol.
I guess a little introduction to the ladies. At time stamp 2:40, looking from left to right:
Almira, oldest of the sisters and leader of the group, she specializes in the whistle note
Mylene, she is the second youngest and the Vocal arranger of the group we refer to her as "The Boss" noted for her signature growls
Irene, second oldest and "The Swagger" of the group, World Class alto, she is what I feel is the anchor of the group she holds the harmony together, she has her own single she wrote and produced, with a Music Video no less.
Celina, youngest of these four maidens and designated Rapper of the group and to that effect she can hold her own against anyone, could be a star on Broadway is she so chose to be.
Every one of the ladies is a World class singer, even back then, 7 years ago they were destined to be great and great they are and those who love them, love them fiercely, not only for the music, but for the wonderful people that they are, not only are they world class singers but they are also 4 of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Seven years ago I fell in love with these sisters at this audition, and I can honestly say that the sisters have never failed to live up to the hype!! It is usually the hype that doesn't live in to the sisters!!! IMHO, they are simply the best female group on the planet!!!!
They arrived in England with the band named MICA, their initials.
X Factor officials informed them that the UK already had a singer named MIKA and they had to change their name immediately. They chose 4th Power. Before the live shows started it was discovered that 4th Power was already claimed by a male group and they had to change their name again. Henceforth we have our beloved 4th Impact!!!
They were going to audition with a Disney song but as they waited their turn, an X Factor official told them they would have e more luck singing Bang Bang, so they switched songs minutes before going on stage!!!
Their entire journey, from singing for money in nasty rooster fighting arenas as children to knocking the socks off the entire world on X Factor to recently signing ShowBT as a management company and Sony Music Entertainment as a record label, is an inspiration!! The sisters themselves reflect that inspiration!!! I can't wait for more 4th Impact!!!!
these ladies are a whole different beast in front of a live audience....the are good in a studio, and good on video ...BUT live - there is simply NO ONE better .
Great reaction, Jasmine! I'm so happy you got to see this video! When you stopped the video at 2 minutes, the girls names are, from left to right. Almira (the eldest sister/belter of the group), Mylene (the 3rd eldest, music/ vocal arranger), Irene (2nd eldest, choreo) and Celina (the youngest, rapper...although all of them can rap). They had to change their name to 4th Impact on the show because someone else already had the trademark for the name 4th Power. Prior to the X Factor UK, they had performed in Asia as The Gollayan Sisters, The Cercado Sisters, and MICA.
For this show here, X-Factor UK, the artists must send an application and video to the show and they decide whether upon listening to the audition tape they will ask them to come audition on the show.
You asked about how you qualify for the auditions, and according to the stories the sisters have shared during their live stream shows, it started for them when Irene sent a demo video of them singing to the X Factor. Quite a while later, they heard back that they had been accepted and eventually ended up flying to England for what they thought was going to be an appearance on the show. Instead, they were put through a series of qualifying performances in front of increasingly senior representatives of the X Factor, and then flew back to the Philippines to await the producers' verdict. Weeks or months later, they were told they had made the cut. When the time came to audition, they flew back to London. The day after they arrived, somewhat jet-lagged, they spent a great many hours at Wembley Stadium, waiting for their turn to go onstage. During the wait, representatives of the X Factor came to them and told them they had to change their name. (They were calling themselves MICA at the time, an acronym of the first initials of their names, but it turned out there was already a famous British singer going by the name Mika.) Almira says she pretty much came up with 4th Power on the spot. (A few weeks into the competition, it was learned that there was a group in the Netherlands that already owned the rights to 4th Power, so they had to change it again. They've been 4th Impact ever since.) Then, once again, while they were still waiting to go onstage, X Factor reps came to them and said they should sing "Bang Bang" instead of the song they had been planning to do for their audition piece (which was "Let It Go" from the movie "Frozen"), saying that British audiences tended to prefer upbeat numbers to ballads. They had, apparently, performed both songs during their qualifying rounds of auditions on their first trip to London, and were asked to adjust at the last minute. Which makes their performance all the more remarkable.

That judge you commented on was Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. She is a British singer and she was assigned to the sisters as their coach during the girls entire journey. This audition was followed by boot camp then the judges house and finally the live shows. They competed for 5 weeks of live shows before they were finally eliminated. Their live shows were incredible and worth reacting to. It was generally agreed that these girls should have won the entire competition but there were several reasons they didn't. 4th Power (now 4th Impact), Jessica Sanchez, Angelica Hale, TNT Boys, Marcelito Pomoy, etc. all joined these US/UK talent shows and lost but became global hits. Their social media following is a lot bigger than the champions.
Ok, you did well with 4 "wows" but have heard some first reactors say "Wow" up to 8 times in a row on this video. Hope you watched all of the judges comments on your own because Simon says "...this is probably one of the best auditions I have ever heard....", and also.... "You have the BIGGEST four yesses we have EVER given!" Yes, this audition has accumulated more views than any other XFactor video. Additionally, all of the other 4th Impact XFactor performances fall into the top 100 for most views. So it might not be a bad idea to react to some of them as well. 😊😊😊😊

I stumbled onto this video one day and quickly lost hours folliwing their Xfactor journey and then on to their channel. They're truly addicting. No cure, and I'll beat anyone who tries to make one 😄 But, we have a huge support group know and the dreamer family. These girls are the best ever on many levels. The talent is amazing and when you get to know who they are as people, the talent is like a bonus.

Loved your reaction but did it live up to your expectations?? These girls are just as humble and real and appreciative as they appear to be. But you put a microphone in their hand and they're all business! They give everything they have to every song they sing!

Unfortunately the girls only came in 5th place. Cheryl stated that sometimes your just too good as the reason they were knocked off. The British press accused the girls of being professionals brought in by the show. They were finally eliminated when a vote from the "super fans" (random people on the street who didn't even watch the performance) voted to keep the British girl in. Just like when KZ was eliminated in the semi-finals in The Singer 2018, there was outrage from the fans. To this day I can't tell you names of any other competitor in the 2015 season of X Factor UK.
