Sitting right in between Guatemala and Honduras to the east, the smallest Central American country has been in the shade due to one of the world's highest level of gang-related violence and crime. 🔫
Yet, the country's diverse ecosystem 🏞️ is a hidden gem for adventure travelers ✈️ and wild life lovers. From volcanoes 🌋, cloud forest 🌴 to amazing beaches 🩴for water sports 🌊 and partying 🥳
The photos were taken in San Salvador the capital 🅰️ and "ruta de las Flores" 🌸, a road going through many small but beautiful and colourful traditional villages in the country's central valley.
My only regret was not taking pictures of El Tunco and El Sunzal beaches 🏖️, too busy surfing 🏄 or eating grilled seafood 🍤.
