the subtleties they're speaking of, what's requested by wes, are just simply required for his style. it's such a specificity where it ultimately towers over other films when tied together.

This is Bryan's second work with Wes Anderson though. He was in Isle of Dogs.

The French Dispatch was a masterpiece. It's great to live in a world where there are Wes Anderson and Woody Allen movies.

Wes Anderson, absolutely. But Woody Allen is a monster of a human being

@@tylerpurrden First of all, his movies are great. Second of all, I don't think he's a "monster of a human being".

@@celestialnubian his films are completely narcissistic, every protagonist is a wet dream of a man he wishes he were (most of the time a super creepy ancient old man hooking up with a barely legal young woman), and offscreen he molested *more than one of his own children* and ended up coercing his oldest adopted daughter into marriage as a minor (she was 17) - but obviously it's just me who thinks he's a "monster"

@@celestialnubian You don't know Woody Allen, and you don't know anyone who knows him. All you have are accusations from questionable sources and uninformed conclusions.

Hi, Alfred. This is Adrien Brody. Don't do drugs. Or do. Stay in school. Or not. Do exactly what your parents and officers of the law tell you to do. Or, maybe, don't.

Mostly love Wes Anderson's flix, but it's hard to believe in this day and age of carefully executed movie making - and presumably with a full team of executive producers and studio suits hovering around - that such a self indulgent piece of flimflam nothingness could be made. Definitely a case of style over substance.
