  • A visit to UNESCO World Heritage site Mont Saint Michel in Normandy, France. A ninth century Norman abbey sits atop a steep outcropping on a tidal island just off the north west coast of France. Breathtaking views and architecture. Touristy walk up through the little community of shops and restaurants that cater to visitors with lots of stairs, but worth it to wander the Abbey and see the vista from the top.

Again, thank you so much for taking us with you. 😊 I wouldn't have been able to handle all those stairs. I got tired just watching evryone going up. 🥵 But, the view was worth it and the architecture amazing. 🙂👍

Thank you for sharing that with us. The architecture is beautiful. I wouldn't have been a fan of those stairs.

This looks really lovely. Is it off the coast of France? At first I thought you were going to St Michael's Mount which is just off the coast of Cornwall, as all your other excursions have been in and around the UK; but this definitely wasn't St Michael's Mount 🤔
