you don't need the high tech shit to be great. Paul Rabil didn't even have his own net as a kid, so he taped a 6x6 box on fences and walls. you don't need weights, large reps of bodyweight going at different speed, and long jogs/sprints will improve strength and speed. eating foods that are common sense to be good for you, no empty calories and sugars, and eating enough calories per lb of body weight will keep you at peak nutrition. hit the wall, shoot on net, run, do workouts everday for a longer period of time than the rest of the players and you would've been D1 in no time.

Academies like IMG and other bullshit charter schools where kids transfer to for high school ruin high school athletics. In most states, public schools which aren’t allowed to recruit like private schools def do, have to compete against these schools which is damn near impossible when they recruit D1 talent. How can public schools build programs when their D1 talent transfer to IMG or Philly Charter? Or like an Archbishopwood since there 1,000 different catholic schools that recruit. Even when I have kids, no fucking way I’ll let him go to a stuck up private academy.

It’s just to take the best kids to a place where they can hone their skills with others that are really really good. You don’t want a potential d1 player playing with kids that won’t make it to college level and they quit because the team they play with is trash
Dylan not every kid transfers to IMG only the top 1% of players. No one gives a damn if you don’t enjoy high school sports anymore, they’re for the player not the fan. If a kid wants to go to college for free let him go to IMG and don’t complain about a public school being bad.

More like if you wana play fast mommy and daddy have to be ignorantly rich. Lacrosse is a great sport but still gives kids with bigger incomes a huge advantage. Hopefully with the growth of the sport that will change.

You may think that because possession is usually a strength for most teams. At the end of the day it's basically just as fast as a soccer ball going up and down and add more East to wear. If you have poor cardio then you can't hack it to keep up with the lacrosse ball.

Lol IMG recruits D1 talent from all over the country. And since it’s in Tampa where it’s gorgeous and laid back, it’s super easy to get kids to transfer. While I hate IMG and think academies ruin high school athletics, MD high schools would get stomped by any IMG sport. IMG might be a fairly recent academy but they’ll kick your ass in any sport any day while getting recruited by Denver, Notre Dame oh and your hometown Johns Hopkins lol.
