Norman Joseph Wisdom (4th February 1915 - 4th October 2010) was an English actor, comedian and singer best known for a series of comedy films produced between 1953 and 1966 featuring his hapless onscreen character that was often called Norman Pitkin.
Norman died on 4th October 2010 at Abbotswood nursing home on the Isle of Man at the age of 95. He is buried at St Bridget's Churchyard, Bride, Ayre, Isle of Man.
