Welcome to our weekly vlog from aboard our 57ft Narrowboat.
This week we take you along on a four part series! We are taking you with us on holiday! We have decided to take a tour to some of our favourite places in the UK, Somerset, Devon, Bath and the Cotswolds We do hope you enjoy coming along with us on this first part which is Somerset.

Visited Cheddar Gorge many, many, many, years ago on a bus tour and we were able to go into the caverns. What a incredible experience that was (especially for someone who discovered they were claustrophobic there) to be inside a mountain! I felt your pain when looking at Jacobs Ladder as even back then my younger self thought it was a climb. Wells is a lovely city, thank you for taking us along. 🇨🇦🚗
Oh Catherine we loved it there, truly is a lovely place and to be honest we would have done Jacobs Ladder but the weather the following day was even warmer! Mr B and his man boob sweats!!! lol. Mrs B xx
This is a real feel good film. Looks like you had a great time! I wondered why anyone would want to leave such a nice floating home in a great location, even for a short time .... and now I know!
Last night, I rode down through Cheddar Gorge and sat beneath the cliffs, with a Tesco Meal Deal, waiting for everyone to leave and the goats to come out. The road was completely traffic free on the way back and really spectacular in the evening sunshine!
How LUCKY are you to live in such a wonderful part of the UK, it truly is a lovely place. Meal deal in the Gorge, whats not to like about that! Thank you as always Aun for the lovely comments and continued support, it means a lot. Many thanks Mrs B xx

Ah! real Scrumpy! Hard to find on this side of the planet, though there are a couple of decent windfall ciders in Vancouver. Great footage of the Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury Tor--just another couple of items I'll have to put on the bucket list (which would obviously include a narrowboat hoiliday).

We only went to Weston Super Mud once when I was a kid ! But we always enjoyed driving through the Gorge.
I'm now SUPER jealous !

You were so lucky with the weather, Wells is a lovely city. I climbed Jacob's Ladder a few years ago as part of a sponsored walk. Although the views from the top are fantastic, I haven't done it since :) I'm looking forward to seeing your vlog of Bath, being born and bred in Bath I think we take the beautiful architecture for granted x
Well done you for Jacobs Ladder, it looked a tough walk up those steps! Oh Bath we absolutely LOVED. We didn't get to film much of the splendid architecture but we did do the open top bus tour and LOVED IT. We shall be back because it had everything we love in a city! Mrs B xx
You look like you have had sun on your arms and face....car I am sure is the reason. A red head can’t do that😕. I wish when I was in England I knew about that place. I couldn’t find a cheddar cheese anywhere...do enjoy yourselfs🇨🇦
Oh thank you so much Shirley and agree the open top car didn't help Mr B with his sun burn!!!! Cheddar cheese melted on toast, that has to be one of the best snacks ever! Mrs B xx
