The first video in our new series on the Red Sea Max E170 plug & play reef aquarium. We go over the basic setup and then show you an advanced aqua-scaping technique using Real Reef Rock.
man he made that look a lot harder than it should have been... could have accomplished the same look with med sized pieces... Turned out very nice no doubt. Biggest takeaway was using Putty to create Feet to balance the structure on the bottom after adding to the tank...#priceless tip. Looking forward to the 800 Gallon update! keep doing what you do!
Hey, David wish I could build a stand that quickly! LOL Awesome video on Aquascaping! Been watching you over the past 2 years and your videos never disappoint. Outstanding and informative! Looking forward to more videos from you and Vivid Aquariums!
Thanks for making this video. My one regret with my tank is that I did not do a fixed aquascape. My next tank will be different, and I plan on spending many, many hours doing this! Thanks again!
The most appealing nano aquascape on youtube imo, I've searched and watched all of the nano scapes - after watching this, and Elliot's work is by far the best(as in nano rock foundation). The random rock shelfs make it look rather exotic. Hoping to see the new vid asap! I'm looking forward seeing where you strategically place the corals. This video inspired me to make a nano myself(beginner). Good job guys I've watched and learned a lot from your videos. Thumbs up from Toronto, Canada
Elliot was early. This is how modern aquascaping is done. I hate the boulder look which is typically what you end up with if you don’t break the rocks. Nice job!
How do people frag corals say on the bottom rocks of display tanks? Been searching for answers for a while, my thing is if I have a rank fully stocked doesnt make sense for me to remove every rock in my tank to frag corals at the bottom.
thanks for this video, probably one of the best clips i have seen about how to create nice looking aquascaping

CJ'S AQUARIUMS check out e marco 400, cannot reccomend it enough
and if you push/tap a small piece of live rock on surface of those putties, you will get a more realistic surface on them too
CJ'S AQUARIUMS this is sending me to sleep haha x
Looking great. Love the shelves. Wish I had the patients and vision to play with rocks for hours lol.
Good idea! I'm thinking about my aquascape now. I knew I needed to break em up. Now i know how to reshape them. Thanks for the vid.
Great video, nice work on the Aqua Scape!
looking forward to the new build. Elliott did a very nice job with the scape.

Really interested in the Red Sea Max, can't wait till you upload pt 2, 3, +
Finally a long video
One of the best videos yet
Awesome!, Elliot got the eye! He, sir, is the Michael Angelo of aqua-scaping. Hands down.
Elliot won't have an eye if he doesn't wear safety goggles when chiseling the rock!!!

Elliot was early. This is how modern aquascaping is done. I hate the boulder look which is typically what you end up with if you don’t break the rocks. Nice job!

Hey Dave !!! More vids please.
hi can you tell what brand of glue did you use and puddy too
Nice Aquascape, when is the next part coming?
Super glue gel is all the same
Tip: Go to the Dollar store get 2 small tubes for a buck I buy them buy the box great for fragging etc
Hi
Question please very new to the world of aquatics, Could I put these rocks in a fresh water tank,
Thanks
Elliot needs to invest in a 115mm diamond blade grinder, this will avoid a ton of wasted rubble and save on 10 tubes of glue!
That's what I use, and a hammer drill to drill holes and insert acrylic rods to connect pieces.

So I'm guessing the tank sprung a leak or exploded or something....
When's video pt2 coming 👍
Nice setup. where is your previous red sea tank. Is this a replacement?
amazing scape well done elliot 👍
It’s a dog standing on two rocks 👍👍👍
I’ve been sitting here for 2 yrs
How many pounds of rock did you start with? Also I know real reef comes damp, would I have to worry about it drying out and killing all the bacteria?
i wish i had elliots skill! and where can i get that putty?
Will there be a part 2?
Hello, so any updates on this tank ? Thank you
Could you provide a product link to the "putty" ?
Please add the next video. I have this tank and follow this step by step.
this video was from 7 months ago, where's part two guys?! You got a lot of fans
Amazing where did you get the rock from ? or name of it?
I believe they use real reef rock for this tank. Its what i used on my Reefer 350 and i purchased it through Vivid.
Where is the next video????
can you do aquascape while rocks are wet/live ?
Any quarantine process on those rocks since they were live ones?
This was done with Real Reef Rock which is a synthetic man made reef rock. They were dry so there is nothing we need to QT.
Where is part 2? Please don't take forever to load the video..
It's 2020! When's part 2 coming?
breaks big rock......proceeds to build big rock. lol
Hello . Can you give me the names of the products you used to glue the rocks and the names of the rocks? thanks
Would be cool for a vendor like Vivid to attempt a BB nano like this.
When will be the next video?
Bonjour vous avez le nom du tube de colle et du spray cela m’intéresse merci
any updates?
Any updates?
Use Stone Fix by Aquaforest so much easier.
What are you doing with the other Reefer 170? Are you willing to sell it at a discount?

Beautiful aquascape. when r u going to show us 800 ?
We just shot the update - should be up within a week or so.

Has it been a week yet?

part 2 ?
Where's the videos? It's been 3 month since the last video.
any news?
2020 already, where is part 2
why not just use e-marco 400? you would be able to pull that entire structure out easily in a single piece and build a strong base.
No updates guys?
Where is the next Part???
Part 2? year later and not part 2? what's that about?
no new vids?
Ummm, did somebody accidentally knock that tank over and shatter it into a million pieces?
