Ball movement is an art
Facts!!
That’s a FACT!!
Yup, a lot of REC warriors teams succumb themselves into thinking they have to play zone relentlessly but when they get matched against people that know how to move the ball quickly, make fast reads, anticipate rotations, their supposed plan crumbles because they care more about individually defending a spot rather than playing a "hivemind" defense. I really believe a lot of these lineups would just play better if they only kept shifting inbetween a more man-to-man side, instead of trying to force too much fixated spots where "simple" ball movement get them to yell "It wasn't mine, it wasn't my spot". They first put themselves into a spot, and then they think to defend.
You described it perfectly, “that’s not my spot” or “who’s supposed to guard right there” is what kills zones. I preach man with rotations as probably the best defense! Because then Simple pass cut and kicks won’t work AS well as they do vs these zone teams
I love playing with ppl with IQ.
bro i love your content it helps me alot, when you improve the quality you gon take off keep helping the community 💯
Yessir, working on trying to get that quality higher too!
Playing Team Ball And Beating Other Squads Like This Is The Best Feeling!
No doubt!
It helps when ppl hit they shots too. Nothing like getting ppl open and they miss
Yeah i just realized i didn’t mention hitting shots, but I’m never really too upset getting good looks and missing. Part of the game sometimes.
Good IQ can take you a very long way in 2K💪💪

that corner guy wasn't all of that. he was just scared to shoot
🤣 cut it out
Let’s be real, that play where you used all of the shot clock ended up in a corner three by accident. Your teammate was trying to hit the big man in the left wing.
It may seem that way, but when you recognize how defenses rotate you’re able to create passes and make reads until that 24 seconds is up. The bigman may also have been open but that’s part of trying to make reads and it paid out for us. I also encourage icon passing from my teammates so again i understand why it may seem like that but it wasn’t an accident! Appreciate the feedback
@amabreup I don't think so, as that situation is one of the most common ones in games between squads who have some experience. The guy passed directly to the corner because he wanted to anticipate the rotation of the opposing player and play on the bait. What they do is allowing the bigman to cover the paint, and risk the interception while baiting. All these teams will do something in the style of this.
Repetition and experience will make you aware to make reads just like you explained and what was done on the possession. Like you said very common read against teams that like to play zone.
What button is it to pass again
