Releasing a “new” football game every year was necessary because there was no online/dlc back in the days.
I really think it would be dope to release a football game that update player cards with online database and that's it. Every game nowadays work like this, except sports games. Cuz they make more money doing it the old way.

dude the shooting was ALWAYS good in FUT 23, the finishing was consistently good, the trivelas were annoying, the finesse shots were annoying as well, but it just felt like a complete game. The issues people had with FUT 23 was the power curve. mfs were using WC lucio, and WC Capdevilla all year, and it took us till shapeshifters for actually good usable meta cards again.

Uninstalled fc24 now. I dont hate EA even though I have complained for ages. Just used to a better gameplay experience. Hopefully, fc 25 is better, but I doubt it. Its not a grindable game anymore.
