Sometimes in the NFL, we get to witness a situation where there’s no shortage of talent, but the inability to stay fit takes all the fun away. This is the case with Christian McCaffrey, who’s had an injury-riddled season last year. The Carolina Panthers running back came back from injury firing on all cylinders, but just when the momentum was rising, he got injured again. This superstar missed as much as 13 games in 2020 due to groin, shoulder, and ankle injuries last year. The last time we witnessed this superstar for an entire season was in 2019, and it was undoubtedly a memorable and record-setting campaign. That was the year when the NFL got to see what he was really about, as he went on to become the 3rd NFL player ever to go register 1000 plus yards for receiving and rushing in the same year. For a player to achieve such a feat twice would be unbelievable, but McCaffrey happens to be one of the players who can do such if he could manage to stay fit.
The on and off injury is the problem with Christian, and that’s one reason to be scared for him; we intend to take a close look into that in today's video.

His injuries were non contact and he was benched for a lot of games because there was no chance of a playoff birth. This injury prone stuff is bull crap. He had more touches than almost anyone while he was healthy. Of course he’s gonna get a little banged up. All the panthers fans saying trade him need to go back to pulling for the Washington.

Hell Thomas Davis had 3 ACL tears and became a beast
if they didn't run him into the ground making him carry the Rock 30 times of game and throw him another 10-15 passes... he wouldn't be so banged up. when the guy is healthy he's literally a TOP-5 pick in any NFL fantasy league.

keep safe! man we fixed the oline a bit and that can help with the run game what i’m thinking this upcoming season is we’ll play darnold until week 4 where he gets injured or something, matt comes in plays a rpo type of system for a while and of course he’ll learn adapt to the system IMO 🤞

Between CMC and Barkley it almost feels like injuries are robbing us of getting to watch 2 guys who can be something great.

Barkley was never going to be great. He is huge and super fast but he only tries to outrun the defense to the sideline. Since he isn’t willing to be physical, he’s very predictable. CMC is a great inside runner but he’s too small for that style to translate into a long career. Barkley could last long in the league, but his instincts suck.
@@RSMoreno idk man all that started after his injuries tho. His rookie season proved that he had potential so had he never gotten seriously injured it wouldn’t have messed with his mental approach to the game.

With the O line we put in front of him and Darnold or Corale whoever starts between them we should be able to run a seriously balanced game this year with passing/Rushing. I mean. DJ Moore and Robbie Anderson have proven they have what it takes to be a top receiving Duo.
It's gotta be Corral week 1 if we want a shot at making playoffs. Need to line Cmac up in the slot and only run him a little out of the backfield.

At the NFL level he's not fit for a lot of carries, he's a receiving type of back therefore the Panthers needs utilize him better.

He's McDone. HS, College and the NFL abused him and his tread. Just like every other overused back in the game's history. It's sad.
Extremely talented and plays so hard for his size, but I think that’s the issue. He’s not big enough to take the punishment that come with that amount of snaps. As a panther fan it just hurts because we are a completely different team when he’s on the field, he changes the entire game he’s that good.
He's 5'11 and 210 pounds. Literally the exact average for an NFL running back. Get out of here with that too small to play between the tackles nonsense.

he is fit for his position, the Panthers just dont have anyone offense and rely on CMC on running and catching the ball. they end up overusing him a lot which ends up in injuries. any RB who in the position of CMC would be injured as well. most RBs dont even last in the NFL with a normal workload

I honestly think alot of his "injuries" are made up, he got paid long term, we were interested in moving off him, which tells me he wasn't really hurt, and was just being pulled to save his body

As a panthers fan knowing we had no chance to make it into the playoffs, I’d much rather save CMC from a serious injury than to risk it so Matt Rhule can try to save his job.

Because I’m Carolina, he was wasting his career. Now he didn’t get banged up nearly as much as he would of had he played those games the past 2 years. Now he goes to shanny and the Niners where he will have a TON of help. In Carolina he WAS there offense. Yeah Dj Moore is good but he’s not a “threat” like a player like deebo is. CMC will be fine with the Niners and honestly, those minor nagging injuries might have been a blessing in disguise

come on dude thats not the reason. his downfall is that Christian is the most overused RB in the entire league. the Panthers offense relies on his running and catching ability, otherwise the offense wont move the chains. if he were to be used like a normal RB he wouldnt get injured as much
The problem is coaching. We can be winning by 100 and our stupid coach Matt Fool runs him till the wheels fall off. Sucks we have all these stars and have clowns as coaches.
CMC always been overrated to me personally. He can’t take all that work and pounding, I think he needs a big back or someone decent to take that pounding like Alvin and mark.
