Suarez had a ridiculously prolific second season at Barca, scoring 59 goals in 53 matches. Messi got 41 goals that year.

People like you need to remember that Sancho was awful at United under three managers, Ole, Rangnick, and Ten Hag. People are now suddenly trying to rewrite his history at United and going in on Ten Hag when they forget he was terrible at the club under three managers.

That’s insane. That’s the type of money Salah is now making after proving himself for 6 years that he was one of the best wingers in Premier League history. And Sancho was getting that money at 21 never having played in the Premier League. That is the real root cause of their mediocrity. Even guys like Lindelof and McTominay are getting double and triple the money they would earn at clubs that actually match their talent level. And they stay on those wages for years past when they needed to be sold, run down their contracts, and manager after manager keeps getting stuck with players who have lost their drive, are comfortable, and who the managers can’t get rid of in any sort of timely matter.

He earned 300k because he is the top u21 scorer of the last 30 years he was arguably the best winger itw when he came. Casemiro etc earned the same at their old clubs. @@IzayaTijisPrincess U-21 means nothing at the professional level. Nigeria has dominated the youth levels at World Cups but that does not actually translate to their full national team at all. Same at the club level. United’s U-18’s just dominated their league but that will very likely mean nothing with the senior squad and most of them will never even appear once for the senior squad.
