I've waited years for this knife model. I got thumb ramps on both one with yellow liners and Lager Ale G-10 with EEP treatment which makes the sheath look twice as nice! The other has no liners and purple color G-10. A very valuable using knife is Bravo Tope Recon.

I was trying to get it in Sambar Stag, but they didn't have a piece big enough for that.

Oh my. That is just gorgeous. Nothing better than a beautifully done convex. Congratulations brother!

One of my favorites from my favorite fixed blade company, nice knife. Gotta get some obenauf's or wicked wax for that sheath!

It's a beautiful looking knife. My favourite Bark River knife. I will get mine next week. It's my perfect Survival Knife. For me a perfect size and a perfect blade shape. And convexgrind is great too. For me a very good allround and survival knife. Many thanks for showing.

I agree. It’s a great survival knife. Excellent steel. Not too heavy. Well balanced. I think you will really like your new knife. Thanx for watching.

Nice review. I got my first Tope Recon two weeks ago with the EEP treatment on the leather . Today I decided to install the scout carry straps. I too installed the straps in reverse and quickly saw that one strap was about 5/8" longer than the other. I quickly found your video to validate that I wasn't losing my mind about the two different strap lengths and what I needed to do. Because of the EEP treatment I didn't need to soak or apply water to the leather, but I sure did have to manually stretch that shorter strap to reach the snap. Your future black leather will look so awesome with your black handle. I went with a Dark Curly Maple handle so it too looks good with the EEP treated leather. Thanks for sharing!

Thanx for the kind words. It makes doing these videos, worth while. I appreciate it. Glad I could help with the strap sizes being different. They should include instructions. You’re Knife & Sheath sounds awesome. I’ve never ordered a Bark River with the EEP coating. I always just treat the leather myself. I wonder how well it holds up? Probably good I’m sure. Well,… thanx for watching. Peace
