I too am happy at day’s end to settle in for a visit with Kevin Lee Jacobs. Wonderful recipe, roaring, welcoming fire in the fireplace, driving past beautiful scenery, soothing music, shopping, visiting peaceful, welcoming animals. He certainly deserves this life he has chosen to share with us and seeing his delight in his life warms the heart.
Eggs Benedict is a favorite of mine, but usually just get when I am out at a restaurant, and they happen to have on the menu. This casserole looks delicious! Perfect for a brunch. I think I can make this. The flowers look so beautiful. Very April spring. Loved seeing the farm and all of the animals. Fun to see Avery and Goldie twirling about the house. Avery eyeballing the Canadian bacon. I wonder if she was successful in getting any. I had a Labrador, George, who had an inclination for food stealing. Grab and go. Reminded me of him. Kevin, there is just one thing that I feel the need to mention... The 'scallions' you use, we (English) refer to as spring onions and our scallions are slightly elongated smallish white onions. That dish looked decadent!

OMG, marry me, Kevin. You are fabulous! I printed the recipes and ordered the rings for the muffins. I just loved this video. Your flower s are gorgeous too. I so enjoy seeing your fur babies too. I am a widow, and l live alone with a parrot and a cat. I have a grand dog that visits too, so I get all the species. I will make this for my son and grandson. They will love this. I may make it for Mother's day. I always cook that day, because I wouldn't be a mom without my son, so he is my God given gift, and my grandson is the bonus! Gorgeous flower arrangement! I think the green leaf stems are called Ruscus. There were a few of those stems in my birthday arrangement LAST SEPTEMBER, and they still look as fresh, now in April, as the day I received the bouquet!! They were still looking perfect when the other flowers were done, and I couldn't bare to throw them out.....I just put them in a vase with plain water and they still look the same, 8 months later!! Can't believe it! They did not send out roots, but they have grown a tiny leaf cluster on the BOTTOM of each leaf, which is supposed to eventually turn into a red berry!! I've used the stems in several other flower arrangements I've made since last September and they never die! Amazing stems! Loved the trip to the farm and seeing all the animals. My son-in-law keeps a few hens and we have wonderful fresh blue and deep brown eggs from them all the time. So pretty, and I hate to break the shells! I will print out that recipe to try for a brunch sometime. Looks delish. I've never made homemade Hollandaise but you made it look easy! 😊 ~~M~~

Love your travels to area farms! 13 years ago the love of my life and I traveled to Sharon Springs to see the Beekman Farm for his 50th birthday. If we had known Tiara Farms and the other places you visit were so close we would have stopped there also. We love your videos and recipes. On another note how did you find Avery? She is delightful. ❤ we now live in Alabama and love the farms and local orchards here.
