Sinaing na Tulingan is a Filipino fish dish wherein bullet scad (locally known as tulingan) is salted and cooked in a pot with bilimbi (kamias) and water for several hours. It is best eaten with rice. Use the the remaining liquid as a dipping sauce.

sinaing na tulingan is native of Batangas..usually cooked on palayoks & has a long shelf life even without refrigeration. coupled with sliced kamatis & paho (very tiny mango) on thich soup of sinaing is a favorite. cooked under very low fire for hours, simmering without boiling until very little sabaw is left (like just about 5 tablespoons), is the best. fried tulingang sinaing with sinangag is great for breakfast served with kapeng barako.. ;D

sa umaga luto niyan ang hango niyan ay makapananghali o bago magmerienda sa hapon kailangan malambot pati tinik..kulang po 4 hrs diyan sa pagluluto.
