Set up a fake prank where you have your friend sneak a tag into your pocket while another friend records him doing it, shoplift and when the machine goes off you act scared and surprised while the security confronts you and then your friends come over and admit that they snuck a security tag into your pocket.

I did this with a friend in high school in our library. The librarian hated us so we pulled like 100 tags out of the books and started dropping them in peoples backpacks. The alarm went off so many times and she spent an entire hour searching people's bags. After awhile she just started letting people pass through because she thought the security system was acting up.
