Hey code! I was making my door bridges still using your guide from like 3 years ago, but thanks for this video too. it really helped clear some issues with stairs i had. Since I figured out you can rotate your base in the loading menu im making one bridge for everything! It goes to the safari, palms, and gold wood in one bridge! Im trying to extend it to tropics but its taking a while, I dont have a good 1x1 chopper but Im making progress. With my other bridge (yes I have 2) Im making it go to lava wood, and yellow wood (possibly ice too, if it lines up), but i was confused on how to make it go down, Thx for all your help! (i dont think you covered it in this video btw but instead of pressing Move and then B on everything you can just reload your base for the same effect, comes in handy when working on large sections at a time)

But I think it will be complicated if you build your door bridge longer and you'll need to go down just to close the glass door so the doors from the top will attach and again if you add more doors.

I noticed while building that if you place an object or fill a blueprint when the loaded slot was saved exactly 10 minutes ago the blueprint doesn't complete and the placed object doesn't appear unless the base is reloaded. What causes that?

Im having issues trying to add a door after the first one, whenever I try to move the bottom one so the top one stays open it does not work it keeps both doors on the floor
All theese bridges have doors horizontaly, I dont know how but somehow i managed to build a door brigde with verticaly placed doors. I tryed to reproduce them but failed... if you know how, please make a video on how to make it so i can have a "fence" to my door bridge so i cannot ride-off off my bridge

Make sure the first door is glass
@@CodePrime8 hi i fixed it few hours after i made this comment 😅 it turned out there was one glitched floor inside the door bridge which refused to be opened or closed 😂😂

this is helpful, but im still having trouble. trying to build my garage doors with this method, not actually trying to build a door bridge. its kinda tough to build it the way i want it, but ive figured out a way to do it differently and make it work. it just doesnt look as good as i wanted

@@CodePrime8 i also figured smth funny about door bridges, if you make a box on the door bridge and put someone under where itll be when you open the bottom door, you can clip people through the map without needing wood r us. Though this only works in very VERY specific spots.

What happens when you make a door bridge to the golden wood and you leave the server while the doors are out of your base? Do you need to build it again?
no they are still connected to your base just it be bit slow at deloading and you will not need make a new one. I never done it but I believe that the doors will not disappear. :)

Hey Heath!, may i ask for what screen capturing software u use because obs always seems to be laggy for me.
If u have nvidia gpu then there's a in built recording software to use when u join a game it pops up at upper right corner when ur game starts
And its laggless too and in built so it is good

I have a gold bridge. User Craziu5. Building it was a pain in the bum but it is great as everybody can drive to get the Gold and Zombie wood
There is a way and you can get there in like 2 minutes without bridge all you need is a piece of wood, skill, and a car.

its been nerfed even opening glass door and reseting wood door while glass is open doesnt work
It still works. I just tried it about an hour ago. I thought it was nerfed too at first. After watching this video, I realized I was just doing it incorrectly. This video was a much needed refresher on the door bridge process. They used to seem so easy to make...until I forgot how to make them.
Make sure to close the doors before leaving or your bridge won't work.
If somehome u broke it, just "move then B" the glass door
