Thanks a million for posting this, despite inferior quality compared to the original. I discovered this couple during the dark days of the lockdown, and was uplifted and mesmerised by their artistry. Not since Torvill and Dean has a couple combined such synchronicity, nuanced interpretation of the music, storytelling, and such a love of dancing together, into something so magical. . They didn’t win the competition (I think others did things more technically difficult) but these two created the most engaging, mesmerising dancing, which makes them the winners in my eyes. This was my favourite routine of all and I was so sad that it seemed to have disappeared from CZcams. THANK YOU! Credit to the coach for the choreography and bringing out the talent of these two youngsters. Evalina is over 2 years younger than Ilya and was as tall as him here, so I could see that they would soon be mismatched height-wise, and they no longer dance together. I hope they both continue skating; I’d dream of them pairing up again as adults, when unsynchronised growth spurts are behind them. Unlikely, I know, but one can dream ….

Ilya can be seen skating in competition in the last year or two with another partner. The story I have read on the web is that Evelina was growing a little too fast compared to Ilya so the couple split and Evelina did not find another partner.
