I discovered this album by chance after watching her talking on a program about the dangers of fake tan. Before that I hadn't paid her much attention beyond "she's one of Girls Aloud". It's weird how the world works, and were it not for the random watching of that show I'd probably have missed out on the chance of listening to what is now one of my favourite albums, and never would have realised just how talented Nicola is. A beautiful voice and a beautiful person.

I remember Nicola being one of the strongest singers on Popstars the Rivals (2003). Her performances of Shout and River Deep Mountain High were so powerful. So glad when she got in the band. So pretty and such a great singer. I love the big hair also, here.

Back then, we had been seeing each other for 1-2 months but he wasn't sure if he wanted to have a comitted relationship with me. The whole summer was so painful. Long story short, I remember listening to this song, thinkng that Nicola was the only one who understood. I felt exactly like her lyrics. This song means a lot
