I love to watch your videos, you are so funny and entertaining. I’m also dashing my way out of debt. It’s not too bad but I have to drive to a neighboring town which is busier. I live on NC coast and vacationers are here now and they tip pretty well. I’m having fun dashing and am currently on list for spark but after watching you I don’t think I want to carry case s of water up flights of steps. Keep dashing and filming. 👍👏🏻.
When I'm being ignored at any establishment, I always say "Hi there, excuse me, I have a question" with the biggest smile on my face. Meanwhile, all of the fun words are spinning around my head. LOL
That's crazy! There has to be another entrance that would have been closer. That apartment complex is ridiculous.
Apartments are DO HARD, there really should be regulations that requires all building layouts to be at minimum available online, I can’t imagine fire, rescue or PD finding their way around these places, and where I live, in Texas, nothing has to make sense, so in some places building number 7 would have all units starting with the number 7 for example, but here it could be building A, with random numbers, oh and first floor starts with a 1, second floor starts with a 2, third, a 3… NOPE! Now try finding the building and unit in the dark…
I do Amazon Flex. I’d rather drive 75 to the country than deliver to apartment buildings.

You make me laugh so much. I freaking love it. One thing that makes me not order as a customer from restaurants like ForCheesy is second pick ups which make a grilled cheese type sandwich garbage. I pretty much only order desserts or pay the outrageous the fee of 2.99 for direct. So the can't stack.

I feel you, but yet I've been doing gig work for a year now.and everytime I get an order I get so nervous! My husband thinks I'm weird for that but I feel like I'm gonna get lost or something wrong will go on with the drop off😅

Wow! There had to be a closer way to get to that apartment??? They need to put that in the description. I can't imagine someone taking that apt and carrying their own groceries without a closer route?
There isn't, I have also delivered there. You park in the court yard where the leasing office is and walk through and around. It's one of the worst ones to deal with.
GH, UE & DD need to indicate if it’s an apartment building like Spark does.
I wished drivers could leave notes on all deliveries. To help other drivers.
I had to carry a 40 pack of water up three flights of stairs plus other groceries and only got a $5 tip. So not worth it
Oh my gosh, that is ridiculous. They should be ashamed. Clearly, they didn't want to do it, so they got a DD driver to do it. They could have at least tipped you appropriately. That's alot of stairs to be dragging up heavy water.

i moved from sunny warm california to pittsburgh, pa suburb, snow newbie, i got my car stuck in the snow we had no sand or kitty littler, or shovel, my car is low to ground, the road wasnt plowed, i didnt have all season tires on, stuck going up a hill, a sweet boy about 12 yrs got a shovel and dug us out, i gave him $40 for 10 min of work. I_____LOL
The lugging heavy crap is why I still haven’t done any shopping orders. My back can’t hack it.

I accepted it because I thought I was shopping for 2 items. Nope they did the shopping and it was 2 BINS full of stuff plus water, soda and beer. Only one flight of stairs going to a house but it did me in for the night

I hate apartments so much. I know exactly what one it was, the GPS takes you to the storage place next door. Thankfully the first time the customer met me out in front. It's a horrible building.

I used to do spark but I didn't like all the waiting around.
Please note that the item count is not accurate for Walmart. It includes the bags so a 50 item order can actually be 20 actual items.. You can also look and see what is included in the order before you accept.

Those 40 packs of water 💦 are too damn heavy. A few years ago, I had an order-five cases of water & other groceries to fifth floor in an old building. I didn’t have a wagon at the time (wouldn’t help if I did)-and I had orders w a couple on the third floor w no elevator, but I was so mad when I came down on the one w five cases-there in the corner was an elevator 🤯, although it looked like one you would get stuck in.

@laughinlori6893 some apartment buildings let you put your trash in the hall and they take it to the dumpster for you for a fee. My son used to live in Los Angeles and they did that there.
Click on the order mama. Some times the 40/50 pound item it’s not even there. Also you’re able to see the addresses to see what floor are you going to. It might be a bottom floor. Also you can see who has the big heavy item. It could be a house etc. use your timer to analyze your order. Some times it’s not as bad as we think and you might miss out on that $. I was going to post exactly the same comment! We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge at WDW back in 2011 - the walk from the lobby to our room felt like MM’s experience.
There's more than one set of elevators in the Apt bldgs. They're usually designated as being on the East or West side of the bldg. That way the residents know which elevator is closest to their apt

On another note, I'm enjoying your videos. I don't use delivery services, but if I ever do, I've learned to tip the deliverer well and meet them at the curb. Learned that all from you.

The least these people could do at the apartment building is to get off their arses and come down to the front door so you didn't have to go up the lifts etc. I live in one and ANY time I order I go down and stand practically at the street level to take it from the driver so that it helps them. Ugh.

Virginia Beach. I don’t think the builders believe in elevators. They’re all walk ups. I started checking grocery orders before I start shopping. For some reason everyone who lives on the 4th floor orders 3 cases of water or 2 fifteen packs of beer with their groceries. Just no.
There is a place called the Yard, in Orlando, it is super long, i had to deliver to the last apt one time and it was like walking a mile
