Exploring the Garden of Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul.
Undoubtedly the lives of Frida Kahlo and Diego Ri-viera were framed by art, their political activism and their closest friends who were a source of inspiration for these famous Mexican painters with strong and decisive characters, who are more than known, among politicians, artists such as intellectuals of the time, 27:30 including architects, such as the couple's young friend, Arq. Juan O'Gorman, creator of the twin houses for Diego and Frida in San Angel (1931), today a museum declared an Artistic Monument in 1998, an important work being one of the first functionalist constructions in Latin America, incorporating in a very natural way the organic Mexican style.
As today you have "Ariel" an architect friend in Mexico.
Hers:
* André Breton and his wife Jacqueline Lamba, writer, poet, essayist and theorist of French surrealism, recognized as the founder and main exponent of this artistic movement. Guests in 1938.
* Nickolas Muray, made several photo sessions for her and immortalized the Mexican as such a cultural icon. The relationship is thanks to the Hungarian roots of the father of the Mexican painter.
* Chavela Vargas, Costa Rican singer, one of the celebrities closest to Frida Kahlo. Chavela, was invited to several meetings in "La Casa Azul", was impressed with the artist.
It is mentioned that it was her platonic love and that they had a romance, Chavela was one of the sources of inspiration for the Mexican artist and she, for the singer.
* Pablo Picasso, whom she met in Paris, with a long friendly relationship. Frida Kahlo, guest of honor of André Breton in 1939, she meets the Spanish painter among other artists such as Joan Miró, Yves Tanguy, Max Ernst, Paul Eluard, Wolfgang Paalen, Marcel Duchamp and Vasili Kandinski.
* Dolores del Río, due to an artistic relationship with Diego Rivera, becomes a great friend of Frida Kahlo. In 1939 Frida gave him the small painting "Two nudes in the forest", which is valued between 8 and 12 million dollars today.
* León Trotsky, the most controversial, whom she met in 1937 after obtaining refuge in Mexico and staying at Frida and Diego's house in Coyoacán.
In 1939 Kahlo and Trotsky had an affair, and he has to return to his home, on Viena Street in Coyoacan, where he was assassinated in 1940 by the Spaniard Ramón Mercader, who made a short stopover in NYC having acted under Stalin's orders.

Indudablemente la vida de Frida Kahlo y Diego Ri-viera estuvieron encuadradas por el arte, su activismo político y sus amigos más cercanos que fueron fuente de inspiración de estos famosos pintores mexicanos de caracteres fuertes y determinantes, a la más de conocidos, entre políticos, artistas como intelectuales de la época, 27:30 entre ellos arquitectos, como el joven amigo de la pareja, Arq. Juan O’Gorman creador de las casas gemelas para Diego y Frida en San Ángel (1931), hoy museo declarado Monumento Artístico en 1998, importante obra siendo una de las primeras construcciones funcionalistas de Latinoamérica, incorporando de manera muy natural el estilo orgánico mexicano.

En 1939 Kahlo y Trotsky sostuvieron un romance, y tiene que regresar a su casa, en la calle Viena dentro de Coyoacán, donde fue asesinado en 1940 por el español Ramón Mercader, quien hizo una corta escala en NYC habiendo actuado bajo las órdenes de Stalin.
