He doesn't need radio audience if he's gonna sing about things in a dark light that isn't accurate. When it comes to meds, to many of these icons are playing on that and not even knowing what they're promoting. If you don't take it for an actual illness that doesn't affect you, then you really are just another juicer trying to get noticed and very false terms. That's not ok

I have a personal connection with this song. I was diagnosed with ADHD since I was 6 , and it's been hard all through school. I did feel smarter with my adderall but , I was so lifeless and , dull with it. Sadly I just can't focus without it. My favorite line is "the adderall won't loosen the pressure , theirs only so much I can take " it's so frustrating that you feel as if you have to go through life taking medicine to focus when other kids can do it so easily.

I was diagnosed with ADHD. I understand the feeling, but meds never helped. They made me sicker than a dog so I learned how to cope. Every time I see the pills in this vid I remember the taste. I'm glad we can all just talk about our stuff and not get judged. Good song. I love his voice.

he wont...his quality is too consistently good. Radio will not allow good music to be popular so long as the shit artists are still being promoted. The average joe would start to realize the obvious different in talent and question why he was being fed shit for so long. It would be a form of enlightenment to let someone as good as he be released into the mainstream. And enlightenment doesn't make the big $$$.
He's touring with twenty one pilots, so he'll get a lot of exposure :)

As I struggle with ADD, it can be a constant battle to find music with good beats and lyrics. Not only did you use lyrics of everyday struggle in this song. The beat, lyrics and the passion behind this song is beyond amazing. This would be great club music, workout music and calming music all in one.

i was medicated for my adhd recently and damn, does adderall make life so much more endurable. When you have adhd you need constant stimulation and after i took it the first time, im so much more content with just one thing.

Damn these lyrics hit too close to home. I wasn't diagnosed with ADD till late in life, and started on Adderall. And it really works for me and makes me feel so much better, makes it so I actually have energy and focus rather than going through life like a zombie. But it apparently changes my personality enough that my wife and my friends have noticed and dont like my personality now. Its upsetting because I feel like it's allowed me to finally express my true self. But now the people closest to me dont like that I act different even though it's how I should be acting if I had a normal brain.😥

damn i have the exact opposite problem. When i take it i feel like actual garbage and am just not who i am lol
ADHD diagnosis very early on leading to a 15 year stint of ritalin and concerta treatment. This song makes me feel so nostalgic for the frustration that the drugs made you feel, which is a wierd thing to say. I loved taking my pills and going to school and being able to learn... and hated coming home and looking at the same page of homework for like 30 mins before being able to do anything. I couldnt take another dose because I was at my daily dose limit already just in the morning, because my docter determined i needed a stronger dose in the morning since i wasnt as responsive to his original dose when I was moved to concerta. I spent most afternoons completely scatterbrained and unable to focus on anything that wasnt video games. (Legend of Dragoon was a huge time sink for me)
I really regret not going to go see Max Frost at the Catalyst. tickets were only ten bucks and i've loved his music for a long time. i'm so sad I didn't have the guts to skip class. -sigh- Maybe one day ❤

I've had ADD my whole life but have never been prescribed anything and I tried adderall the other day at school and I went from a C- to and A-, Adderall is actually really helpful if you legitimately need it
Most people with ADD are very intelligent. Though constant distractions and lack of motivation can really affect grades.

I actually wonder if I have ADD. I was pretty bad at applying myself to coursework. Like I'm good at IT, and at the time I was probably one of the best or maybe even the best in the class at the time, but I probably came out with the worst grade (think it was an E). I was doing pretty well to begin with at the coursework, then I just stopped. My grades really don't reflect my actual skill.
Adderall can help your grades but personally it makes me feel like a lifeless emotionless robot I can't smile laugh or be happy with friends when I take it I was thinking about suicide that's why I had to stop

I have ADD too, been diagnosed with it for 10 years now and been on medications for 8 years. I've gone without it for a while and I haven't felt exhuasted like the sudden exhuasting that hits you once the effects of the medication wears off in weeks! I wanna go off them forever, however I can't. Without them I can't focus, i hate taking them so much.

It's not that easy - women and POC are especially underdiagnosed, and there's people who have loads of symptoms, don't meet the clinical threshold but still struggle a lot.
I do agree that if you suddenly start thinking something is wrong with you after hearing about an illness then you don't have it. For those of us who do it's more like: We've had massive difficulties our whole lives and suddenly there is an explanation that seems to make sense

I was diagnosed with ADD young and put on Ritalin. Every time I went in (yearly checkup, illness followups, prescription refills, etc.) the doc would just up the dose for no particular reason, and not by a small amount either. It went south inevitably, and now ontop of the standard symptoms, I started seeing and hearing things. That still hasn't gone away.
He eventually retired and died, and my new doctor re-diagnosed me with ADHD and went the smarter route of trying other medications and dosages in safe ranges. They all almost worked; it was either a trade off of one problem for another, or just more problems stacked on top. I was advised against it, but when I was old enough to make that decision, I stopped meds entirely to see what was available to me with nothing skewing my perception.
Funny enough, my grades improved, my sleep improved, and my morale was through the roof. I am a whirlwind of words and thoughts, but the results were and are overwhelmingly positive. Now I have a job with decent pay and security, I'm working on a college degree with no outstanding debt, and I have multiple circles of friends and hobbies to keep me sane.
