Jamaica is the same way. When I was in tourism I got to visit some of the resorts over there so I could sell the vacation packages. What you see in the resorts and how they really live are as different as night and day. But everybody is so friendly you would never know that most of them live far from those luxurious resorts. Americans are so blessed and we appreciate nothing!

So glad yall had a wonderful trip. We just got back from Henderson Beach resort in Destin. My husband has 2 projects going in Pensacola and they wrapped up early on the ground work so we decided to take a little mini vacay and drove to destin for a few days before heading back to Alabama.
Oh sweet!! Yes we know exactly where Henderson beach is at! How was the weather while y’all were there? We’re going and celebrating Rasha’s birthday while we’re there.

Yes you should definitely visit!!
No it’s not hard getting passports. When we went to get ours it took us like maybe 10 min at the office. We got ours at a location within a library.
When the kids got theirs we took them to the post office. Both were easy to do and I think the normal time to get it back is about 6 weeks unless you pay for it to be expedited.

I believe you about the air quality, my ex husband has lived in 7 different countries and he suffers from really bad allergies, and the only place he said he has ever been where he didn't feel stuffy or have a headache, and all was Jamaica.

Yes madam, the White tourist women get their hair braided in Virgin Islands and Jamaica. You know Mr. Jay, we talk about that all the time. The white folks, when they are in the Caribbean, the personality is totally different. When they are back in North America, it is like what? You are sure like Dr. Jekel and Mr. Hyde.
