I’m going to DR in the next couple of month,where would you recommend to stay ,I’m not into the resorts as I like jamming with the locals,nice food 👍🏿
You can go to punta Cana, sosua, Cabarete if you’re a first timer. But if you want the real authentic experience, go Santo Domingo, La Vega, Santiago. Just be safe tho!
Scratch that. Do not go to punta cana. It’s too touristy and you will rob yourself out the real authentic 🇩🇴 experience. Also, make sure you try the dish called “Yaroa” 🔥

3:00 My mother and us grandkids when we would go see grandma in FL and she had an outhouse and if it had a rattlesnake in it we had to pee in a jar so people think whites didn’t live hard but we did. My grandma raised 4 kids in a one bedroom house with 6 of them and no bathroom and the state didn’t give her a bathroom until the late 80s a year before she died in her 60s. So yeah more in common then people think. Skin color is just that because poverty comes in all races!!
