No, it isn’t. Syracuse University is a private school. SUNY (State University of New York) is a public school. However, SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry (SUNY ESF) is co-located with Syracuse University-their students take classes with each other, use the same facilites, and graduate together. Perhaps thats the source of confusion.
I’m currently a High School Junior and am going to bring applying to SU next fall! So excited! Gorgeous campus!
