For a long time, El Chapo had preferential treatment everywhere he went… even prison.
He escaped prison twice, so when he was arrested a third time, Mexico had him shipped to the U.S. He would get a life imprisonment sentence at the most secure prison on Earth.
But even now, authorities are on high alert. Five years into his sentence, Chapo is still trying to escape.
ADX Florence can’t be left through a tunnel or mountains of bribes. So how is El Chapo planning to leave this terrifying place? And is it really as horrific as he describes it? Let’s explore Chapo’s life in prison today.

His living conditions are excellent. He’s simply needs to learn to how to live in isolation for the next 20 years or so. His personal safety is guaranteed for life, & there’s nothing scary about that.
This is why the govt locks up their own many times. I’ve seen it firsthand. The biggest drug dealer in my local town worked for the feds and when he knew he was on the hit list of some serious people the feds just placed him in prison on made up charges to protect him

I have been inside and man I can empathize how difficult these things are for him (1) The concrete bed w/ thin mattress (2) stuck in cell 23/7 (3) shower every other day (4) limited visits (5) 24/7 lights on (6) shitty meals 3x/day... I would not be able to last a month under these conditions...
