How to fix weak spot in your dreadlocks

The following technics can be used to fix weak spots in your dreadlocks:
1- Collect all the extra hair and start fishing through the loc with a double ended crochet needle (.5)
2- Rotate back and forth between fingertips to shape the loc.
3- Follow up with a single ended crochet needle to tighten.

I have one like this but didnt have as much at the root as it's right by my ear. I added some "fuzz" from the bottom of my loc to twist it. My hair has been curly for 2 weeks. I'm interested to see what it will look like on wash day.
