Once I watched video about the prank in America where a guy offered random ppl silver bar or chocolate bar, and guess what, they all took chocolate bar cuz they were acting confused about silver bar. Even tho in exchange they would get around 200$ for it.

When we are on phone and the other hand is free we do have the tendency to hold onto anything given to us unconsciously 😂 I do this with my siblings.. Randomly giving them an egg or tomato when they are on some important call 😂 it's funny watching them discuss serious stuff holding an egg

The reason is : our mind can't do 2 tasks at once efficiently. It works 50% for each. In this case : talking on the phone 100% and suddenly distracted -interrupted- by handing them something unexpected- the mind switch to this weird new task is slow - because it is engaged with the other task. The mind is not given enough time to reach 50% for this new task. So , when people take the thing , their mind is working may be 5-10% for this new weird unexpected task.

This is a psychology thing. When people are busy with another thing, like talking in phones, they dont really process another thing so they will most probably get what you gave them lmao
