    No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk along the River Thames in the City Centre of London. We start by the wall of remembrance, following the River East, passing by Big Ben, the Millennium Wheel, and Scotland Yard to name a few. There are many green gardens we visit too, much to my pleasant surprise. A beautiful walk! Do enjoy :)

    About Dave's Walks
    Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
    I mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
    I upload every 5 days at 9.30am GMT (1.30am PST) (4.30am EST) (3.30pm IST) (7.30pm ACST)

    how lovely to revisit the Embankment. it's many years since I walked along the South bank and visited the Globe and Tate Modern. Never done justice to the north shore before except for Cleopatra's Needle and a famous boat (that used to be) moored there. thoroughly enjoyed the gardens with monuments to long-ago heroes of the Imperial Age. the Covid memorial was poignant... so many names.

    A very pleasant walk, another view of the Thames.
    I particularly appreciated the wall of remembrance in memory of the victims of Covid.
    And an old tree that stood upright with sort of crutches; I found it ingenious and charitable to allow him to still live.
    Thank you Dave for this beautiful and interesting visit

    Very lovely walk. We can see that that's a historic place. They have the memorial tombs along the river. It's a beautiful tourist sight. I wanted to ask, how many steps you had to walk up? It seemed like it was about one hundred steps. Man I wound had to rest away before finishing all those stairs 😅

    • @DavesWalks
      @DavesWalks  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Yeah, so I vey much get to enjoy most walks twice! Or I may walk somewhere and then film the return walk. Its always a joy though never a hassle.
