This really nice customer was trying to make his mum’s car look presentable again as unfortunately it had acquired some nasty dents on either wing/fender. As it was an older car, the easiest option seemed to be to find a couple of second hand panels in the right colour and bolt them on. However this was not possible as none were available. Therefore after seeing some of my work on CZcams he got in touch and asked whether I could at the very least improve these panels as he wasn’t looking for perfection. I agreed to help and this is the full breakdown of the complete repair…..

@@vicentemaldonado865 The market is flooded with online PDR courses, so there are tons available if you want to learn 👍👍
Dude that passenger side was Brice level stuff!
Amazing job!!!
Hey Tommy, I'll take that as a huge compliment as Brice is a superior PDR tech! Thanks 👍
I’ve seen a few magicians before but they usually have a magic wand and a deck of cards!! 😀 Amazing job!! 👌👌
Ha ha, yes I only have a set of rods and a hammer! but I still like to make dents disappear though! 👍
The magicians I see usually empty your wallet in a matter of hours 🤣
@@batmansdad3195 Ha ha, not this one 😂
nice to see you treat every car with your usual high attention to detail, most people would turn their nose up at working on a little run around, it looked mint!!
Thanks, yes it was a clean little car really and much nicer looking without those ugly dents! Thanks for your comment 👍
You are a genius! I wish we had someone of your caliber here in Brooklyn, NY, USA.
Once again Jake,just mindblowing that,wizard🎉
Thanks Andy! 👍👍👍
You sir are an artist!
Thanks 😉
can you do a tutorial for how hot and for how long to warm up the paint? and cool down times and when to reheat after cool down? that would be great for the channel
Fantastic job! You are a real artist!
Jake you done it again!! Amazing work and I much appreciate you putting this together for us. As a bonus for us (because you don't treat us enough ;) ) I think we would love to see customer reactions if they are comfortable being filmed that is.
Again, amazing. Thank you.
Nearly done my 1st week at keco training and loving it.
Thanks, I’ve never asked a customer yet to be filmed. I’ll have to see if I can make that happen at some point. Great to hear your training is going well and that you are enjoying it. Looks like we might be seeing some of your videos soon! Wishing you all the best with the rest of your training 👍
Excellent video! Master at work!
Extraordinary result!
Bu sporu güzel yapıyorsun. Bravo.
Thank you 👍
Jake! The off side wing was beyond repair even for the filler, spray guys standard!!!
Well done. Thank you for this video.
Thanks, yes it's good to challenge yourself every now and then, I was really pleased how this cams out especially as I was getting battered by very windy conditions. Thanks for your appreciation 👍
Amazing work as always Jake. God bless and thank you for all you do.
Thanks Joseph 👍

Thanks Peter, appreciate your comment 👍
Perfect as always.
Thank you 👍
I really appreciate your effort and time to make the analysis part👍
Thanks, yes that part always takes the longest to edit 👍
Wow amazing repair! Great work 👍
Thanks! Not sure what was more challenging that day, the dent or the weather that completely blew my umbrella inside out and destroyed it! The joys of working mobile in the UK Weather 😂
Great work/result!!
Thanks Keith 👍
Jake, that was a fantastic result especially with that horrible creased O/S wing. Forget 50% that was 150% craftsmanship my friend!👍👍
Thanks Mark, yes certainly took a fair bit of work to get it looking like that. These cars always have dents in these front wings like this so I have definitely had a fair bit of practice doing them over the years. 💪👍
Wow great work 👌
Incredible results Jake, especially that drivers side wing, that was nasty. Good old English weather testing you too!
Thanks Tom, yes I know you can relate very well to working in these conditions! Sometimes I don't know what's more challenging...doing the dent or battling with the weather! 😂 Take Care 👍
Good job!!
Again great work
Your work is wonderful, you are a magician in it. I wish you success and health and wellness
Thank you so much for your kind words, I wish you very much the same! 😍
Incredible work, the drivers side dents looked really nasty and I thought beyond saving, you are very very good, each time I see a very small ding in my rear door (thanks to someone in a car park no doubt) I’m reminded of you and how I ought to plan a trip your way! Fantastic video, thanks.
Thanks, yes when the customer said that he was just happy for an improvement it took the pressure off and made me want to get it as good as I could. Thanks for your comment! 👍👍👍
Another great job and video!
Thank You! 👍
Great work Sir!👍
Thanks Ronald 👍

Nice job
Another marvel Jake. Great job. 👍
As always, thanks Rod 👍
Amazing, as always.
Appreciate it Jeffrey, thanks! 👍
Excellent job as always 👏🏻 I've done countless dents on 206 front wings ! They just attracted dents!
Thanks Matty, yes, I also did quite a few of these wings many years ago when this model of car was not so old, they all had that same rounded dent which I did on the left side! As you well know, they can come out quite well if you have enough patience!
@@1st_track_dents yes they do move well, and always the same size round dent 😂 I wouldn't have even attempted the drivers side wing, well done 👏🏻
Hi Jake, sorry been a while, happy new year mate 👍,honestly your skills just blow me away as always.yes i know that was over a good shift but even at that, mindblowing 👏👏👏
Thanks Andy, that was a horrible weather day too, definitely one to be done in a nice warm workshop! 👍
@@1st_track_dents 😀your right there 👏
Amazing job 👍 👍
Thank you 👍
Great job I can't even see any paint bruiseing and Im amazed the paint didn't split on that profile edge. Top job 👍
Thanks Jason 👍

Thank you so much!

As usual, you did an awesome work :)
Appreciate it, thanks 👍
HEY! Welcome back! Good to see you make a return!
PS.. Not sure if you remember me but I'm still here.
Also, your content inspired me to buy a small kit to fix the wings of my Impala and a door and wing on my new Crown Vic.
Thanks!
@@SweeneyDunston That's really great to hear, I hope it all worked out for you, I'm sure your repairs came out great 👍
Fair play to you for taking that on in a car park. Not easy working outside in the UK for hours
Thanks Declan, this is the type of environment all of my jobs are done in, I can't remember the last time I did a job under some cover! 👍
@@1st_track_dents I'm a PDR man in Ireland, I couldn't work outside much due to the shit weather we have.
@@declanmceleney7429 I would love to have a workshop but the costs here for rent and business rates would leave me with nothing left at the end of the month. It would be good if I could find someone locally with some workshop space that I could rent as and when I needed it, but that's not easy to find. All the best Declan, have a great weekend! 👍
Great video again! Currently I am struggling to get long, thin creases out. If you make a video about one of those that would be awesome. Or just any tips and tricks about those types of creases you may have would help a lot! You're an inspiration!
Thanks, yes creases can be difficult to do, you just have to know how to attack them, if you start them wrong they can lock up and become more difficult to do. It all comes with time and experience. But I will see if I can show a crease being taken out in more detail in another video. Thanks for your comment, best of luck 👍
Excellent..like it never happened..you are the best I've seen ..see you on the next one..Cheers 🍺🍺🍺🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Rodney, yes see you on the next one soon 👍
Sir, a remarkable transformation of what looked like the result of pretty severe collision. If only I were a few years younger, I would’ve love d to work under your tutelage. All the very best
Thanks John, yes it did look like it had been hit more than a few times! But yes it felt great to get it as good as I did as Peugeot metal can be a bit challenging. Thanks for your kind words 👍👍
Amazing!
That’s awesome!!!
Thanks! 👍
That was amazing
Thank you for your comment, much appreciated! 👍
Thank you so very much

Unbelievable 👍👍😎
Amazing work Jake! I know I was meant to be saving the video til tomorrow while I was around my camp fire …. BUT! Curiosity and all that!
Well done that drivers front wing was an amazing save! And you know a 50% means “Challenge” just like we spoke about the other day!
Have a great weekend Jake!
Martin@ Dent-Remover
Thanks Martin, yes the hot and cold glue definitely took a lot of the hard work out of it, but there's nothing like being on your knees getting battered by gale force winds and icy rain pushing dents out, people with office jobs don't know what they are missing! 😂😂😂 Take it easy mate 👍
Very nice. I've pulled a few dents recently with glue and it's really annoying when you pull the clearcoat or paint off..... 😂
Lucky for me I'm able to repair it. Awesome job as always 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes, the cold glue is much safer, but the hot glue can be a lot more aggressive. It did concern me on this as it was an older car, but I was confident from checking both panels closely that the paint was original. Thanks for the comment! 👍
Amazing piece of work! Too pity you are so far away! Hope someone will do that in Greece too.
Thanks 👍
Outstanding
Thank you Victor 😉
Thank you Boss
Thank you 👍
Saya sangat menghargai pengetahuan bapak, semangat and terus berkarya, terima kasih
Terima kasih banyak 👍
Pdr has come so far from when I went to body school almost 20yrs ago and it was just in it's infancy and all about hail chasing!
Yes PDR wasn't really known about when I was at body school in the early 90's.
Yes, it's amazing what can be repaired these days. There are some amazing PDR guys all around the world today that are so talented and everyone of them is pushing the limits! It's great to see 👍
Hey Jake. Great Job!
Which Hot Glue did you use?
You are the best
Unbelievable!
Could you do a video explaining when you would have to turn down jobs and why, for example a panel full of body filler etc?
I'll certainly consider it, thank you!
That's badass
That must be the most loved 206.
This one certainly was in good condition 👍
Legendary 👌
Thanks 👍

You have really sick skill Man.. such a good job. How many years od expierence you have ?
Thank you, I was a panel beater first and then learnt PDR around 1998, so been doing it a while 😉
Brilliant repair as usual, good to see a 206 without it's trademark front corner dents!! :-)
Yes, these cars were certainly magnets for those front corner dents, did loads of these back in the day! 🚗🔨
AMAZING
Thanks Daniele 👍
Nice! I miss those old 206 front wings! Money makers 🤣
Thanks 👍
I don’t have time to watch this now so will save for tomorrow, but as ever knows it will be brilliant i even watch it 👍
Thanks and enjoy! 👍
@@1st_track_dents now watched. Always the same thing, can’t you start filming difficult dents not these little bumps. Anyone would think you weren’t very good 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@mercedes_and_more 😂😂😂 Noted! will try and challenge myself a bit more on the next one😁
@@1st_track_dents Good man 👌👌😂😂
What does a repair like this cost,do you charge per dent/panel
Excellent work as always. do you need an apprentice? 😀
In future video can you show more Techniques more in detail how you create leverage in those difficult areas to reach
Yes this one was particularly difficult as the area was too wide and open, so you will see that I had to wedge a large piece of wood into the headlamp space to push off to get the leverage I needed 👍👍
Very good
Thank you 👍
I hope you see my work on my channel, thank you
Not an expensive car but phenomenal work yet again and the video tells the full story.
Definitely recommend some nice fleecy hats when working in colder conditions, keep that excellent noggin warm and functioning correctly!
Thanks Joshua, yes I had all the seasons in one day doing this job. The problem is if I wrap up too much I can't move my arms, but yes I need to invest in a warmer hat, thanks!
Awesome
Hi Great job. How you have a electric power when you work in outside(in the road /parking)???
On this job I did manage to run a power cable from the customers home to the car, but yes other jobs can be difficult if there is no power supply 👍
