I have always loved and resonated with the last bit of that song. Because I too have fantasies that can't come true except in my dreams. Also in the Danish version which I grew up on they sing "fantasy makes me free" and those words are so god damn true. Definitely my favorite from the movie along with If you love me for me. The old/older Barbie songs have such great songs and stories.

when I was a kid, I used to watch Barbie (im not sure which i have negative (non-existent) memories about my childhood) and my parents were cool with a boy watching Barbie... but my older brother kinda bullied me out of it and honestly I was never mad? (once again, negative memories.
