Well done. The dialogue between the two, as well as the growing distrust, is spot on. Seeing the beginning was helpful but still leaves a lot of questions.
Thank you so much! We made a short prior to this called Nobodies that ended with the beginning to this film. There’s a link in description to that film, it may answer some questions. We did still leave some stuff open for the future…
I just watched two years of my life flash by
Enjoyed the film . Wish they hadn't parted ways but brings to light the split-second cruelty we could face after a catastrophic event.
Sad! Well done
Really liked this one! Great job of depicting the bleakness, the music and shot choice were spot on for that!
So good I watched it twice! Everything was great, all the acting, the script, the music, the locations, just everything was done very well. And to show I'm not somebody's family member giving unnecessary praise, I will mention that I thought everything was just a bit too clean, most of their clothing, the cars, etc. Even if somehow freshwater was available it didn't look like they had electrical power so they wouldn't be washing everything as much as we do now. But what do I know, maybe it just rained and that's when they wash their clothes and cars. : )
Also I might have left it as a cliffhanger by having that road gang driving up to the beach in Drew's and Patrick's SUV and then Drew, thinking it's Patrick, gets up and starts running towards it yelling that he's sorry... Black screen, roll credits.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to give feedback! You make a great point about the cleanliness of clothes and cars. Honing in on those details really helps the worldbuilding. Glad you enjoyed!
that beach cut went crazy
Love the match cut at the end
Love the dead fish in the water
So sad :,(
Thanks Zach good 👍 flick….. camera work was great…….. keep going…. 🍿
Nice short. Dude walked right into an ambush.
Well done!!!!!!
That group at the end scary
That's probably how things are going to be when the sh*t hits the fan. Finding that pickup truck was too good to be true and way to inconvenient. There's strength in numbers and he should have dug in with his buddy. Continue searching the perimeter for food but stay together.
@@stuartshomepc U right. I didn't think about it like that.
I see you recently put this up I came across it in autoplay and really liked it...So we SUBSCRIBED and rung the bell
Thanks for subscribing! Glad you enjoyed
Amazing job...Peace
They sound like a married couple arguing you don't listen to me you never say you love me you don't comment on how good my hair looks you think I'm fat
Great vid. Nice to see a good story line. Give the genre usual of gas masks-n-Mad Maxx a break.
I'm always curious how many times scenes hafta be redone over someone/thing showing up unexpectedly.
Thanks much for your efforts in making it available.. d:^)
Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching! Trying to make a populated society look abandoned was definitely a challenge, especially for the driving scenes. A lot of it was patience and timing the editing so no other people or moving cars could be seen!
This is good - I liked it.

Would some kind person please point out exactly where the "Rogue Wave" was at 13:08? I have seen swimming pools with larger waves than that bay.
Would make a good start to a flim
I liked it had me wanting more, subscribed
wonder who has been mowing their lawn for the 2 years they were gone?
Why did I even watch this
He had it coming
So there was not a single person in a relaxing beach town but the moment he drive out of it relaxing beach town he got murdered by a gang for hobos????
Some promising tech talent on display here, but the script left much to be desired.
Rip Mike
Loads of dead fish on the beach.
“Let’s go fishing and eat the fish.”
these guys have no idea what to do, or how to up their chances...
Most of us would probably fall into that category.

The film is "too clean" for an appocalipse story. Needed alot more "The Road", to be entertaining.
That's it?
To much work.
went nowhere fast, but not fast enough
There is no way they could have made it they were fighting amongst themselves, and he shouldn't have shot that girl she wasn't a threat. And the wrong guy got killed.
Boring.
Two guys trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. One shoots a girl for no reason. They carry on, but start to argue. They split up and one gets killed by some random dudes. The other one goes to pout at the beach. I'm pretty sure everybody at the meeting to discuss this script were totally spaced out on something. Moral of the story, don't do drugs.
